Kahana Gateway Shopping Center — Attraction in Maui

The small supermarkets/general stores in this mall are a godsend if you're staying in one of the resorts across the street or nearby. Shopping here can help mitigate the high cost of food in restaurants. There's also a bank, nail salon, snorkeling shop, McDonald's, and the famous Maui Brewing Co. Not bad, but not what it used to be. Outback has moved to the Kihei side (which was great for me staying in Wailea!), but surely missed here. I didn't see Roy's either. It once was a bustling center with difficult to find parking, but has since seen many tenants come and go (two Roy's restaurants, and an Outback) and their spaces never reoccupied by eateries.
