They push the limits of the laws that protect us from them,even including the interest rates they charge, When they say I opted in knowingly they are lying. This is multiple times. First they started sending me mail advertisements to my mail and also communicating to my telephone! I called them very upset that they were communicating with me with solicitations. They said I’d be removed. To them that just met only the mailing list. I said do not ever communicate with me ever again in any way they do not respect our boundaries or our personal information. Beware of them beware of Capital Pawn! They will collect and save all of your personal information including your birthdate your home address and your cell number. And they will use your personal information to bother you early Sunday morning with alerts to your phone. Your emails to your mailing address, .needed a small loan, because my father passed away. They kept sending me mail solicitations they kept sending my phone trxt solicitations. I called and said do not solicit me. You guys charged me a fortune in interest, and I demand that you leave me alone and quit reminding me. I don’t believe that it’s legal for you to use my home address and cell phone to access me for your business purposes.? I remember that you charged every dollar could. Came in today and looked at some silver while my son checked out rifle parts . I was interested in some silver bars that resembled something I lost long ago a asked to look and after two associates talked was quoted a price and asked if I wanted them , I responded "I have to ask my wife ". My son let the associate know he would be right back for the part and we walked out. He got his money and I got the green light so we walked back in my son asked for the part and I asked for the silver. My son got the part for the same price but all the sudden the silver bars I was interested in went up in price. I told the associate that the other fella already told me a price,but he didnt seem to care and pointed to a sign, I let him know if the price changed just like that I'm not interested and he put the pieces back in the case, my son paid for his piece and we left questioning if we wanted to shop there again .The associate was aware of the previous conversation as he was the one the other associate consulted before offering a price. I dont mind haggling at a pawn shop but that seemed more like a hustle. Hope we can get back the honest haggling at our local shop.

Have had very pleasing experiences with both purchasing and loaning from their old location to new location same great service and friendly staff. I’m originally from the Portland area and since Covid I have unfortunately needed small loans but didn’t wanna ding credit so using items I already own has been best option for me. I can say truthfully & without being paid or anything of the sort to write this review these guys are by far giving the most generous and realistic offers for your items than any pawn shop in the Portland area. Sure interest is high, for a week loan it’s the same as 30 days but that’s everywhere unfortunately. Would be cool if a place was to lower interest based on the customer or at least offer more to buy your items than loan.
