Castle Megastore - Medford, OR — Attraction in Medford

This is a nice store for purchasing lingerie or adult toys. It’s comfortable for me as a female because it doesn’t feel dingy or seedy. You won’t find any guys blowing guys here because they don’t have “ adult arcades” . It’s a large, well lit , bright , clean business. No creepy corners or sticky floors. Every time I’ve been in the stores it’s been all females working. I did visit the Eugene location once and they had a man working. He wasn’t creepy at all. I’ve been to quite a few adult stores in my days. Many of them with an off putting vibe. Not here, I feel totally comfortable. The worst I’ve had to deal with here was some Filipino chick trying to follow around my much older boyfriend while we were shopping, purposely swinging the pearl g-string panties she planned on purchasing. Right next to him, in front of him. We got in line and she followed us and stood whee he could see her , staring and continued. . But that was just a desperate customer. Employees aren’t responsible for mentally ill females with delusions of grandeur. Some of their items seem overpriced as I’ve been able to purchase some of their same items at Magic Man for a good cut to the cost. However, the selection is amazing! I’ve never purchased media here. Let me just say that their products and variety are GREAT! My husband and I got to look at all kinds of things from clothing to intimate toys. However, being a former intimate retailer myself, I would highly recommend that your staff (particulary the "educators") read the customers a little better. It is one thing to touch on the customer once every 15 min or so. It is another to constantly be on them with everything they are looking at and then overly upselling towards the end of purchase. There are customers who LOVE the engagement of people constantly checking in on them. We were not them and it was disappointing that Steve, your educator, couldn't read that. By the end of our sale we just wanted out of there. This really could have been a higher review had it not been for that. That said, Steve was the only that introduced himself (that I can remember, and kudos for that!). But the blonde/red head girl that first greeted us when we went in was PHENOMENAL as she gretted us, showed us what was where and left us to our own until we had questions. My girl and I went into the castle the other night and we had been wanting to try out an anal toy for her and we wanted a good one and so I ended up paying 83$ for the toy it had two vibrators the plug and the remote control, and another couple hundred on other things such as little outfits and lube, toy cleaner ect. Well when it was time to try out the toy we took it out and charged it up fully like the directions said and followed all directions and it did not work at apl would not come on and about that time it stoped charging which who cares it wouldnt even come on, no problem cause the lady talked me into insurance for the thing but we was duper disapointed that night and well the insurance was 15$ extra dollars but by mistake it was lost and so we called the castle and explained out situation and they was totally rude like we was trying to get a damn toy for free which most certainly was not the case, we have told alot of ppl about this and they all said they will not return to the store and ofcourse we wont either!
