SUPERCUTS — Attraction in Medford

Good and clean looking place, but it smells heavily of marijuana. I assume it's due to the cannabis shop next door, which is unfortunate.

We stopped in mid-afternoon on a Monday and there was only one person working the whole shop.

Had my 2 sons' hair cut.

First was a simple buzz cut, but she started dry and it was left a bit patchy and tons of longer hairs leftover. I ended up having her touch up before we left and it was better.

The other son was to be cut like my haircut. Very close on the sides and maybe an inch to an inch and a half in top. She finished up and it was at least twice as long as my hair. I had her go half from there and she only cut maybe a quarter off. It ended up ok.

Overall ok results, but only after pointing out issues.

This would have all been fine until she rang me up at $45 ($22.50/kid)! My fault for not checking on price beforehand, but usually kids are cheaper. Add the experience and it was very overpriced.

I'm used to going to a very experienced barber who only charges $12 for adults, but that shop wasn't open and I had put off getting these guys' haircuts for too...

I had cancer treatment last year. I lost my hair, and it had grown back curly. Several months later, my hair was returning to it's natural straight form. So at this point, it was like I had an old perm growing out - curly at the ends, straight at the roots. It was time to let the curls go and go for a nice short cut for a fresh start.

So I went to a kind of expensive salon where I got an absolute hack job of a haircut. It didn't seem great on that day, but I thought I could live with it. Until the next day, when the full horror became apparent. Seriously. It was wildly uneven - chunks of the left and right sides were an inch or more different lengths. And the stylist thinned out random spots and left other spots bulky. And a bunch of the curly bits were still there.

That's when I went to SuperCuts - taking the first available stylist. And man, am I glad I did. Gabby immediately understood my request, and somehow managed to clean up the entire mess, leaving me with a perfect pixie. It's been a couple of days, and I'm still so happy...

Kamari- I absolutely adore you girl. I came in with very damaged hair. For all those who understand, mid-life crisis hair. I bleached it 3 times and fried it and tried trimming it myself to get the frizzy stuff off. Yeah, im not a professional. But Kamari...Im not exaggerating even a little bit when I say this was the second best hair cut I've ever had in all my life. She cut about 10 inches off my hair and added layers and gently and methodically cut my hair. She made it look so much better. She actually knows how to do layers correctly and I am so impressed by her skills. I will definitely be coming back to her. Quick friendly service and she has the best personality.
