I went to the one in South Medford by Walmart and it was busy as usual which isn't a problem. Had to wait a little bit for certain food items that ran out also wasn't a problem... Nothing wrong with waiting for something fresh and hot. Unless you're just an impatient person. Not a problem I have.
The problem I had was when the line got backed up from multiple people waiting for certain items to be finished cooking The cashier a young lady who was clearly unenthused with her job. Decided to walk away from the register and start adding food items to containers that were waiting. Decided to quickly add my teriyaki chicken to the plates bypass my bag of other food waiting for my final items put them on a tray and give them to the wrong customer without double checking or second thought.. giving me the most disgusting attitude when I asked if I could have my food since she then began to move all the orders behind mine ahead like I hadn't been sitting there for 30 minutes already. How the nerve to tell me she didn't take my order* She doesn't even know what I'm waiting for* talking about* etc and that it isn't her job. So then I proceeded to remind her that she should have some recollection of my order since she rang me up and took my money for it and knew that I was waiting for my meals to be completed. Mind you I stood there for 20 minutes without even worrying about the time or where my food was at all. Because I understand what it's like in a busy restaurant full of people all trying to get food as fast as possible and be on their way.
But to give me dirty looks and roll your neck, eyes and disrespect my patronage by being moody and not want to listen to a word I had to say.
I felt that I needed to stand up for myself as a paying customer and let her know. That she was wrong and that her statements were contradictory. As ever. ( my first Karen moment) except I didn't drag her to the manager or make a formal complaint. Just let her know directly.
Which she could handle either because imideatly. After she just walked completely off the floor and left the register abandoned. And cause everything to fall apart even more. Which made me feel even worse because now everyone else. Waiting forever now had to deal with more chaos and confusion. While the tried to fill orders and find some one to ring them up. Which didn't happened before I left. (manager remade my food & start it completely over. Going off my receipt ) because at that point my entire order was lost in the mix of it all.
I APPRECIATED THAT. MY KIDS GOT HOT FOOD. AND MY ORDER WAS CORRECT.
but I probably will avoid panda as much as possible for awhile. I don't have alot of free time like many people so when I'm trying to feed the family and can't cook. I gotta leave feeling some level of value / satisfaction. Or it's...
Read moreI think that the service is mediocre. After I purchased my meal my fiance and I left and went back home which was an hour's Drive he got his order wrong. So I called and talked to the manager they wanted us to drive an hour back so that would be an equivalent of 3 hours to accomplish a meal after A Hard Day's Work. That's unacceptable my fiance was very angry over this and I stated over the phone this would probably lead into a fight and I didn't appreciate them getting our order wrong. He proceeded to beat me and put me in the hospital and da got a hold of the workers and their eyewitness account and everything involved was somewhat distorted and very very wrong on the facts of what happened. I was merely trying to make a bad situation corrected. I only wanted to compromise and taking 3 hours to write this was not a compromise. My order was done correctly his order was done wrong he was pissed off so I called and pretended like my order was done wrong because he didn't want to deal with it. All of this over a $20 meal..... a good compromise would have been come back in next time in your mails free I think he would have been satisfied at that but they wanted to be picky and nitpick and be argumentative with me over the phone so it did lead into a fight. Thanks for nothing Panda Express.. way to make the customer happy. And your statements to the DA about the facts of what happened are not true FYI I will never go there again. In conclusion your lack there of capabilities of getting an order right led to a long-term relationship being broken up for the better in my opinion should I say thanks for getting...
Read moreThis was my first time eating at a panda express. My friend who was also the passenger in my car suggested we try it. I ordered a mixed plate with walnut shrimp and teriyaki chicken. We drive to my friends house for me to discover they just gave me the grilled chicken with NO teriyaki. I called and told the girl who answered and she told me to just come back. But i already drove to my friends house and wasn't going to get ready to go back out again to come back to the house to cold food. after talking to her she put me on the phone with who i thought was the manager. After telling her their mistake again (after her giving me so much unexpected attitude) she eventually said "did u ask for the teriyaki?" I said "i ordered TERIYAKI chicken." Then she said just come back I'll give you a few of them". I said i do not want a FEW just wanted what i ordered. She then to my disbelief gave me more attitude!! Said it was a simple mistake. and What else do i need? Really? Then she asked if i wanted to speak to the manager! Why was i wasting my time talking ro the previous 2 people?? I had to walk to the grocery store that was much closer than the panda express and buy a Bottle of teriyaki sauce and microwave my food because after All this, it was of course now getting cold. VERY dissatisfied. Do not go there to eat. The people mess up your order, give you crazy disgusting attitude and don't do a thing to rectify their eff up. bad service. And the food was also crappy. 1 star...
