Executive Cigar Shop & Lounge — Attraction in Melbourne

On our first visit to Melbourne, FL, we noticed a cigar shop downtown and decided to give it a try. Having been to a few cigar lounges across the country, I’m completely aware that they’re not all created equal and so I try to temper my expectations. However, within moments of walking in the door at the Executive Cigar Shop it was evident that this place is a cut above your average lounge. The decor and layout is very well done, it’s incredibly clean, and the selection of nice cigars is exemplary. But it was the service that really made our visit memorable. As soon as we came through the door, Ruth, the manager, was helpful and attentive. She asked the right questions to help us hone in on the correct cigars for us. She then took the time to lead us back to the bar area and introduced us to Yasmine who did an amazing job of taking care of us during the rest of our stay. Even IF the cigars and drinks weren’t great, the friendly staff would have made up for it....but the bourbon selection was impressive (loved the Michters), the draft beer list was great (KY Bourbon Barrel Ale in Florida!), and they have all the nice cigar brands that you would expect from a high end cigar lounge. Really spectacular cigar shop in historic downtown Melbourne. Different rooms with comfortable seating, a nice bar, Chuck was very informative telling us about all the cigars from all over the world, prices ranging up in the thousands, they have lockers for rent to store your own cigars and whiskey, there is a separate whisky tasting room, they blend their own whiskey, a humidor room where they store cigars before display, there's a membership fee If you want to join and you get 25% off of everything and they periodically put new cigars that arrive into your locker, they have ladies night with different speaker presentations and discounts for ladies. One of my photos is of the humidor box which was made from the floor of the Los Angeles Forum, the prestigious arena for major L. A. Sports events, the last event being the 2011 NBA All Star Game in which Kobe Bryant was the MVP, and inside the box is a photo of the floor of the arena. It's really a fascinating...

We moved to west Melbourne November and I found this hidden gem! My in laws were here from New York and I brought my husband and in laws here. The environment is very welcoming. The cigars are priced affordable. The bar area is super inviting and there is plenty of room in the lounge. George provided us a little tour. Showed us different cigars. Told us about the art that was displayed on the wall. How it was made by a local artist. The cigar shop is very chill and classy. It was clean and you have many options to choose from. You're able to smoke what you buy there or bring your own cigars. There is no membership fee. There's nothing like this in the Bronx. The demographic/age is mixed bc my in laws are in their 70's and my husband and I are in our late 30's and we all had a wonderful time in the lounge area. If you enjoy cigars and drinks this is the place to go to. The location is perfect. We are definitely going there again. Very welcoming...
