DO NOT GO IF YOU HAVE KIDS. I went in here with my young daughter. She wanted to see the wind chimes and brushed them so they would make noise. The man behind the counter abruptly came out from behind the counter to let me know that my daughter was not allowed to go any further into the store. He tells me that there are breakables and she couldn't be there. I scooped her up and left immediately. His customer service is A ZERO. It made me feel extremely awkward. I have enough common sense not to let my child RUN AROUND AND BREAK YOUR ITEMS.
Helpful tip: put a sign on your door to let customers know that children are NOT welcome.
ETA: FUNNY HOW YOU CLAIM SHE TRIED TO RIDE COOLERS. At the end when you abrupty kicked us out, I tried to rush her out and she indeed grabbed A CHIME. Nice try though on acting like she was uncontrollable. My child was attended the ENTIRE TIME. Look at your cameras and see, which you have and know this already. I was with her the entire time and YOU KNOW IT. Do not try and threaten me with your footage when I was there and I saw first hand what happened. There are ways to go about things and your counter person was absolutely horrible in the way he handled things. I work with customers every single day. I would never ever treat someone in that manner. Nor will I tolerate you acting like I have some sort of out of control animal for a child.
Look at your footage and watch my child look at your metal animals near the door. Was she in them? No absolutely not. You can try and turn this every which way but what happened is unacceptable. Your response is also just as unacceptable.
You CANNOT downplay the the fact that this experience was awful. I want to warn all others with the fact you are okay with your employees having such a low standard of customer service. I want to warn people that not only do you find your employees behavior acceptable but clearly the management is just as less than mediocre as the person we...
Read moreI love this place! I come here all the time to buy my Trapp wax melts and candles because the smell is divine. They also carry many other candle brands i like as well as flameless candles and diva laundry soap...the things I love and would otherwise have to buy online butbits mich better to come here. I go out of my way to come to this store for regular items I purchase and also for unique and delightful home decor items and gifts. I even have a few men I know hooked on the Trapp wax melts for home fragrance and they buy gifts for people here too... and all kinds of girlfriends are now into this place too of course! We are all obsessed with high end home fragrance. I have also purchased several Woodstock chimes from here for myself and gifts for others. This place is a real gem!
I plan to go back soon for more wax melts, Christmas home fragrance (Trapp has THE BEST IMO) and a delightful piece of Christmas decor i have had my eye on...they have many scenes (cardinals, nativity, Santa, snow men, etc.) with the light and slow moving glitter inside... so beautiful and classy, I must have one for thisbuears Christmas decor.
Lastly, the owner is the NICEST MAN... he is very customer oriented and greets everyone like he is happy to see them. That is a nice touch and how it should be when shopping in such a cute boutique as this. It makes the experience enjoyable and always wanting to return.
Anyway, great items, lovely shopping music and ambiance ... this shop is a true treasure and one of my absolute favorites in all of brevard. While I go out of my way to come here at least once a month (many times it is my sole purpose in going downtown), this is a MUST stop when one finds themselves downtown. Its delightful and you will be happy...
Read moreI've never been in this store before because they're usually closed, even during business hours. It looks like a cute little store but if you have a kid, or a pet, or a drink, or stroller, or wheelchair, or a cane, or you're with more than one person, or you actually want to look at things, probably not the store for you. The employee just had very poor people skills and it's just not a good fit in the sales business. If you want people to actually buy things, you should have some basic people skills. But when your store is a front for alternative means of income, I guess it doesn't really matter. Although I understand a no drink policy, especially when it comes to open containers and children with drinks etc. I don't understand a no drink policy when the drink has a lid, you're holding it with two hands and you're a 30-year-old grown adult person, and not a toddler or baby. It's very odd when an adult stranger speaks to you like a child but I guess I'm just a person who likes to be treated with basic respect and politeness, maybe that's...
