Florida Eye Associates — Attraction in Melbourne

I love this practice! I have had surgery performed by both Dr Weiser (most recently) & Ross years ago. My experiences & outcomes were excellent. Dr Weiser explained everything as he performed the surgery which greatly reduced my anxiety. Both pre & post op, Dr Weiser answered all my questions & he was very nice. My checkup two days ago with Dr Brown was fantastic. Dr Brown was very kind, very thorough & reassuring. My husband has seen Dr Parihar in the past & he was very happy with his complete exam & the doctor’s knowledge & explanations. I know we are in good hands. What more can one ask for? A great office staff?

The staff at both the Melbourne & Palm Bay locations are truly exceptional. I have never been treated with such kindness & respect. I love Curshona & Novoliah & I have witnessed both interacting with other patients (besides myself) & they are always sweet, efficient & engaging. During my last visit in Palm Bay I had the opportunity to talk with Jennifer & Stacey whom I had never met & again, there are two more amazing employees. I’ve never been in an office, with so many amazing staff members. Office staff are frontline employees & so important! The surgery center staff were great also. I had had a retinal stroke due to an incident that occurred with my mother that caused my blood pressure to rise dramatically and caused me to lose my sight in my left eye. Thank goodness this was a temporary setback, and I was referred to Florida eye associates by my physician. Upon doing some testing, they discovered that I had had this stroke in my eye and followed up with me for four months while also discovering that I had severe Cataracs. Dr. haft of Florida eye associates was my surgeon who performed my cataract surgery and he couldn’t have been a better qualified, more polite, kind Informative doctor than anyone else. I absolutely love his whole mannerism. My surgery went without a hitch. The follow up care I received was top-notch by all at the cocoa beach office. I just had my final visit and have been cleared for a year until I have to go back again. But seeing Dr. haft on each of my visits just made my day he was always uplifting, always polite, positive and , clear and concise with the information he gave me. I couldn’t refer a better company than Florida I associates to go to for all your vision issues. My mother who is 98 years old is also a patient at Florida eye and has been receiving shots in her eyes for macular degeneration and they treat her with kid gloves. I...

Florida Eye Associates is not a patient-first organization that places emphasis on its incoming patients' quality of life and access to life-improving treatment as its claims department focuses solely on reimbursement relationships with insurances. After receiving feedback from the supervisory staff of the claims department about their "non-par" relationship with my insurance as a result of low reimbursement rates, I worked with my insurance to establish a Single Case Agreement with Florida Eye Associates that would assist the organization with negotiating a rate that would be mutually agreeable and bound by contract. I worked diligently to get this agreement done because one of the in-network physicians performs a procedure that I need for my eye that is hard to find in this area of Florida. The supervisor of the claims department aggressively refused to negotiate a Single Case Agreement with my insurance (even with my insurance-appointed care coordinator on the line who advocated for the Single Case Agreement). I've been trying to get my eye treated with Florida Eye Associates for the past two months to no avail.
