I am extremely upset with my experience today with the groomer. Long story short, she got off of work for the day and left my fur babies in a kennel in the grooming room. She NEVER called me to let me know that she was done. She also didn’t communicate with other staff that my fur babies were still there. Seeing them completely by themselves almost made me lose it. I dropped them off for a grooming touch up around 12 pm. When I dropped them off, I went over my number with the groomer again to make completely sure that she had the correct number. I had my phone ringer on and near me and absolutely no calls came from the groomer. Once almost three hours passed I became concerned because there were only about three little fur babies in front of my two. I called and a staff in the front answered the phone and said that the groomer will call me when she is done so I said okay. About thirty more minutes passed so I drove up there. That is when we ( the staff member and myself) discovered that the groomer left them and never called me. The staff member told me that she will talk to her manager about what happened. I am making sure to share my experience so others won’t have to experience what I did today. Also I keep water in my car for them and they consumed almost a whole bottle of water within 4 minutes. This lets me know no one gave them water. I feel like they were neglected!!! I did enjoy the bakery and front counter staff though . They were professional and helpful. I just will never take them back there to...
Read moreI’m a local certified dog trainer, with a Dog Training business. Hollywood Feed is my family! My very first job in 1989 was Hollywood Feed. They put us through extensive training on nutrition, product information, side effects, flea control, etc. Hollywood Feed is truly a different breed. If you go into a Petco or PetSmart, you don’t get the sound advice that you get from the employees at Hollywood Feed, that’s how we were trained.! Even in the 80s, , we did hands-on learning. When Don and Diane sold Hollywood Feed to Sean, Sean continued the traditions of Hollywood Feed as implicated by Don and Diane Warmbro! The first Hollywood Feed was a gas station on Summer Avenue in Memphis, TN. When Sean bought it, there were about five Hollywood Feeds in Memphis and in South Haven. he used all the traditions of the original Hollywood Feed and extended it to be a successful pet supply store all over the south. I don’t go anywhere else to buy my supplies for my business. I feel like I’m part of the Hollywood Feed family because that’s where I got my start, if it wasn’t for Hollywood Feed I would not have a successful Dog Training business! Don was my mentor. And he passed it on to good...
Read moreThey are The Best of The Best! Hollywood Feed IS GREAT! The company and the employees seem like real people; people who really Love & are excited about PETS! (Personally, I think its DOGS that they LOVE THE BEST!)
The level of their enthusiasm is tremendous. Going to Hollywood Feed could be described very close to "The Apple Store Experience of Animal Care." They're so helpful, supportive and encouraging that you feel good when you leave the store. The employees are so upbeat; they seem to love their products and what they do.
(Some clarification may be needed here:) To be fair, Hollywood Feed is really more like, "THE BEST of An Apple Store Experience". At Hollywood, I don't have those precautionary feelings and thoughts of experience before at The Apple Store. Like this, "No matter how good the products are, this seems like it's a little too over-the- top. And there's the one that pops into your mind, "You know, TAS does sometimes make you feel you are not in a real place, but in Disney Land. Hollywood Feed, however, IS THE REAL THING, and, no matter what, it is A GREAT PLACE FOR YOU...
