Kathy Thurmond-Edwards - State Farm Insurance Agent — Attraction in Memphis

On Thursday the 5th of June 2025, I was assisted by Ms Kathy Thurman -Edwards staff member by the name of Shellee Hudson. I was a transferred client from Pam Burch State Farm. After Mrs. Birch had retired from the insurance business. My wife Stella has done business with Ms Kathy's insurance office for several years and that was the reason why I miss Kathy wound up with my policies. So now we have all of our vehicles and our home insured still was State Farm but we have one agent. However, today for about an hour or so Mrs Hudson patiently listen to the various stories of how I had things insured and how I wanted things done. She is extremely knowledgeable in this work and extremely patient. And talking to her it was comfortable enough that it made me feel like I have known this individual for years. Which is a good quality to have in an associate that makes the clientele so comfortable. Which in turn draws people to do business with their office. So one day soon I hope that we get to meet face to face not only Mrs Hudson but as well as Mrs Kathy Thurman-Edwards as well. I would definitely recommend doing business with this particular State Farm office just simply because of how they make you feel and how they listen to you. Just because they sell State Farm Insurance not all offices are the same. Thank you...

These folks are fantastic. We have been with Kathy for years. Kathy, Valerie, Amber, and a host of others in her office have treated us with incredible kindness in several difficult situations, and their level of competence allows us to trust them when they make suggestions to us. In several instances, they have helped us navigate our own policies and helped us discover benefits that had a significant impact upon our lives. They have been honest with us and have helped us find the right policies for the right seasons of our lives. They do not attempt to sell us policies that we don't need, but they've shared policies that might be advantageous to us-and they were!

From cracked windshields to helping us maintain policies while we lived overseas, they have made us feel like we were part of their families. They remember and ask us about details about our lives that have nothing to do with insurance!

I trust them so much that if Kathy and her team went into the used car business, I'd buy a car from them without even seeing it!

This is the absolute worst company ever. I had a policy and was misinformed by my agent Victoria and her team and State Farm as well. I have never dealt with such a disorganized and misleading insurance company. I have been dealing with State Farm & Kathy Thurmond for a year now. My experience with them & state farm have been completely deplorable I would never recommend any of my colleges to do business with any state farm office but this office in particular had it where i was overcharged on my bill when i first added my second car and instead of them charging me the amount in full like most insurance companies do they instead decided to charge me over 3 months which didn't happen right instead each month was a different amount and they refused to accept their mistake so i disputed it and they told me to stop paying my bill we got your back and what happened was it too 2 months just for corporate to change the simplest thing so when my bill came back it was for over $800 and they refused to apply the proper credits to my account. To this day I'm still dealing with this mess they created. STAY AWAY FROM THIS AGENCY...
