DXL Big + Tall — Local services in Memphis

I came in today just to get a pair of dress shoes for the weekend. Turns out it became more informative than I knew because of the prices and the great staff. It took me a while to look for my dress shoes, but they were for a great price first one was for $60 and they did fit the basic need but when I found that same brand for $70 it made all the difference. Because some of these items depending on what type of that they have on them will have 20% 30% or 50% off. That may not seem like much to Sum, but when you’re a tall and big man, it’s definitely going to mean a lot. I even had a chance to talk to another customer about the polo boots that he was getting, and he told me the reason why he was trying to get those specific boots. For the None slip thick soul, and then they came in black. Those polo boots cost $165 And they can even be ordered online in store. For the best always come in and talk to a sales associate because they can let you know when a sale is going to come out or how you would be able to get a discount on your next purchase that you never knew you could do. But I will say when it comes to the Sleep section, they had her covered with the house shoes flip-flops robes, and sleepwear. Unfortunately I had a little bit of time to get this done but if I had a 8 to 9 figure bank account I will get an entire new wardrobe from this location alone. Shout out to staff...

DXL is a great shop with great clothes. Fantastic graphic Tee's and an awesome sportswear section. The staff is very attentive and super nice but it would be cool to dial that attentiveness down and give a person a chance to browse. Most of the deep discount sale items are on deep discount for a reason but its worth checking out. I only give them 3 stars for 2 reasons. 1. Holy moly guacamole the prices are inflated like a Macy's Day parade balloon. I was literally looking at some of the items on Amazon for half the price - the only difference? Immediate gratification or a 2 day wait. Make an extra buck on your specialized clothes but perhaps tone down fleecing your customers. 2. The bonus rewards program is set up to make sure you never use your rewards. Link everything to a card and your preferred phone so you don't have to keep up with the huge coupons you send out. Not mention isn't having your rewards available from your rewards card kind of the point of signing up for it in the first place? Pro-tip:. I really like DXL in KC and was excited to hear there was a bigger one in Memphis where I live now. I got greeted and people did check on me which was nice.

My DXL experiences in KC are 5 star all day long. Things are neat and orderly. All sizes are in order from small to large and usually most sizes are available. You get actual support finding things etc.

This store is a train wreck. I feel like I’m shopping a kohls clearance rack at designer prices. Not in size order. Most items not available in all sizes. Clearance section is all over the place. Underwear section boxes all over not neatly arranged. I don’t even work retail but can tell it’s poorly managed. Seriously one of my favorite stores just needs to be held to the DXL standards I’ve come to expect.
