Was shopping for shoes and I had picked out several pairs to try on and as I was walking up and down the isle with the shoes as I tested them for comfort several employees appeared at the bench where my shoes were along with the shoes I was trying on I heard them whispering oh my somebody left they old shoes as I walked up they looked surprised as I stated no those are my shoes no one left them they tried to play it and said oh we thought someone left them no I stated they are mine so as I gathered up the shoes to return them to the shelves I noticed a employee in the isle where I was shopping with a walkie-talkie pretending to straighten up the shoes Monday January 16th MLK DAY 2023 in Memphis Tennessee TJ-MAXX on Park Ave….I’ve never been so disappointed in my people my SISTERS I know we are living in an era where people are taking what they want however I’m not one of them and just because the shoes I wore into the store have seen better days they are very comfortable and it’s raining outside not trying to impress anyone I will never ever shop TJ-Maxx again no one asked me if I needed assistance finding anything they were just looking to see if I was going to leave my shoes even though all of the shoes have alarms on them come on now I am so done...
Read moreSorry, I used to love T.J. MAXX; however, they are just another version of Kmart! If you have lived all over the country and shopped at various T.J. Maxx stores, you would know the store on PARK AVE. in Memphis is a poor excuse for a store, Period! Ladie's hat a d purse ares are in disarray, the clothes on the racks are Salvation Army and Goodwill quality! Honestly, I've seen better in the Salvation Army! I love shopping. It is a excursion for me! I've shopped Neman Marcus Sacks, Nordstrom, and I have been to The Salvation Army. I wanted to see for myself, compare, and learn! T.J.. Maxx has some nice pieces; however, the quality has gone down. Most clothing is "low-line" for sure. Most people are too "proud" to go to stores like the Salvation Army" to even just look around. Hint: The "Rich" give their designer clothes, shoes, purses, etc. to Goodwill and Salvation Army for TAX...
Read moreI was in the store today, 9/19/23. I didn't have the best experience today. I was in between 2 and 220 pm. I walked up to the jewelry counter. I was not greeted by the employee. I walked around to a different side of the counter. She walked to the opposite side. I went to the side closest to the dressing room. She kept her head down. I finally circled the entire counter, ending back where I started. Looking at a necklace on the top shelf. I lingered to see if she would finally acknowledge me or offer assistance. She turned her back to me and went to the back register where she was on the phone. I went to the home section and ended up talking to an employee who was off from work shopping. She told me the jewelry employee name was Josilyn. Rude to customers. I'll come for that necklace when a more professional...
