I am absolutely amazed by Jay. She is an extremely powerful and beautiful young woman. Sunday we went to her business on park Avenue in Memphis Tennessee. A woman by the name of Margaret began cutting my hair after I had explained to her explicitly that I simply wanted a trip. She was rather unnerving to say the least and basically destroyed my hair cutting almost 6 inches of hair off and managing to leave a very large/of air missing. And several gaps of hair, While cutting my hair, she kept asking if she could come home with me.She asked me what I did for a living.I told her I was a Baker.She wanted to come home with me and make with me. I'm sure that she is very kind person.But I hate to say this , but if you continue to have that woman in your business , you're going to lose business. Jade today made my life a lot better.She re styled my hair repaired.The damage done by margarita and was more loving and kind and encouraging that I have seen anybody in the city of memphis and a long time. Am. I opinion and I am a business owner of forty seven years , jade definitely needs to have a raise and she should be recognized as such a wonderful and valuable employee. On the other hand margarita is going to cause your business to be sued if not multiple times. I say again, she was kind and polite but she also was rather frightening. She would not listen to my instructions. When I attempted to tell her that I did not want her cutting my hair and I wanted to get up. She pressed the scissors against the back of my head and told me. I couldn't get out of the chair until she was done doing what she wanted. She did a very bad job and she was very unnerving. Jade, on the other hand was only able to correct the damage done by your other employee.Even though I walked out with my hair almost 8 inches shorter than it was when I went into your business on Sunday.The hairstyle that Jade was able to do to save the way my hair looked is magnificent, just like her.Jade is a fabulous fabulous employee. Thank you very much.I do hope that you take my recommendation to terminate the employment of Margarita.Today that she cut my hair.She was either drinking margaritas as her namesake.Or i'm sorry to say she's got her wires crossed but she should not be allowed to have scissors...
Read moreCame here for a keratin treatment and trim and will never come back to this location again. The hairdresser who serviced me rushed through my whole visit. She sped through my hair wash and did not properly apply the treatment from my ends to my roots, she just slapped it on my crown and lathered it before putting me under the dryer.
While I was under the dryer I could see her doing another customer’s hair which may be why she sped through my services. Once she came back and rinsed my hair she took me to her chair with dripping hair and had me stand up and gave me a one inch trim all around, no hair drying or sectioning at all.. afterwards she dried and brushed my hair roughly (I could hear my hair ripping and she kept bumping my face with the hair brush). When she finished I could still see split ends and when I pointed this out to her because I wanted her to properly trim my hair she said “your hair is so damaged that I would need to chop your hair to your shoulders to get rid of all that damage”.
Rather than argue with her I paid and immediately called the Germantown location who had me come in later in the day to fix my hair and get me right. They had to cut another inch off my hair to fix the botched job she’d done (my hair was uneven and the brush kept catching at the ends). Side note: the first stylist put a cape on me that had another customer’s hair on it and no neck strip, I had to shower and change my clothes due to irritation from foreign hairs found...
Read moreI haven’t been to a salon since pre-Covid (2019) and I’m interviewing for a management position in my company so I needed a professional look and style. I happened to be in the area on other business and decided to find a salon. I found Supercuts was 6 minutes from my location. Online booking was super easy. Once I arrived at the salon, even though they were busy, my wait time was about 10 minutes. The shop was clean and I felt positive about it because of the number of clients ahead me. My stylist, Shannon, was absolutely amazing. I told her that I wanted a more professional cut/style and silver/gray highlights to blend in my natural grays (which I embrace whole heartedly). I didn’t want my grays covered because they are a really pretty silver color. I was nervous about letting anyone besides my pre-Covid era stylist touch my hair but Shannon told me exactly step by step what she was going to do and put me at ease instantly. She did an amazing job! It was the perfect cut and just enough subtle silver highlights that it looks completely natural. I left feeling very positive about my experience. I live about 2 hours from Memphis but I have to come up once every 8 weeks or so for other business and will definitely be checking in with my new stylist so y’all don’t let her go!! Shannon gets 5 stars and I highly recommend her...
