Memphis Pizza Cafe — Restaurant in Memphis

Walked into this place a few days ago after trying multiple times to call and put in an order with no luck. Upon arrival, I see that the restaurant itself is crowded, but there are only two ppl in the to-go line ahead of me. I finally come to the front of the line, and the girl at the register asks for my order. I ordered 2 calzones. There is a guy standing next to her serving beer, and he interrupts my order, saying that it will be abt 45 min. Meanwhile, the to go line has quickly formed behind me, stretching nearly to the door. I reply well how abt I order a pizza. The beer server says sorry, still 45 min or more as the girl at the register looks on saying nothing. I was nonplussed! I had personally just been refused service. Personally??? He did not turn away any customer behind me in line. He did not inform anyone else abt the 45 mins. I waited to see then watched from my car to see if even 1 of the ppl in the to-go line behind me would be turned away. I will never patronize this establishment and am grateful they turned me away. I would not ever knowingly spend money in a place whose employees pick and choose whom to serve at will. I did learn one lesson. If I ever find myself in a similar position... Start...

Ordered an Italian sub and a Memphis Fireside for dinner. Sat there for about 30 minutes no food and finally asked the guy at the counter because I was sitting at the counter about my dinner. He couldn’t find it so he put another sandwich in the oven and then it turns out they thought it was to go and put it on top of the oven and had been there for quite a while. OK, people screwup but honestly after that length of time you comp the sandwich and charge me for the beer. That didn’t happen, he did ask if I wanted the new sandwich or just take the one that’s been sitting on the oven. I checked one sitting on the oven because I was shocked when they charged me full price for their screwup. I left half the beer and probably will limit how many times I go in there...

Worst customer service ever! Memphis Pizza is one of my favorite pizza cafes. Tonight, I order a chef salad as always the same way every time. The guy tried to up charge me $4.00 extra. When he fixed my salad, it was poorly made. I got home and looked at my salad it was a joke. He also made a comment that he would let me get away with it this time, as if I was trying to get something for free. I left him a tip. I don't like to play the race card, but you know. The guy intentionally left my dressing out of my order on purpose. My family and friends come to this Memphis pizza cafe all the time because it is closer, and we like the patio. I don't think we will be coming back . Brian is a great manager. The guy that waited on me tonight needs customer...
