Look. I'm not one to leave reviews for places often if ever and I didn't complain while I was there to the employees. However, for those who base their decision on where to eat off of these reviews you are now warned. Do not eat here. My girlfriend and I both got the all you can eat dinner and tried a large variety of the menu since it was our first time here. If I had know how bad tasting the food was I would not have ordered so much at one time. My fault for being too excited. The salmon on all salmon dishes we ordered was almost impossible to swallow and clearly going bad. The same was true for the steak on the BBQ option we ordered. Clearly past it's edible date. The quality on all of the other options just wasn't good enough to overlook that and left us questioning what else might not be edible. Even the dishes with sauces couldnt cover the bad taste.
The positives are that there wasn't a wait, food came out quickly. Service overall pretty good outside of never getting refills which we desperately needed but I'm stubborn and refuse to ask. Placing my empty glass on the edge of the table is as far as I'll go to get a refill. Not the end of the world.
Overall we were very excited at first to get all you can eat sushi with the high ratings this place had. Lesson learned is to never eat at the dine in restaurant with an empty parking lot regardless of ratings.
Hopefully I can get the taste out of my mouth as soon as I get home and...
Read moreYou need to give them time to work out the kinks. The entire place is severely understaffed. We stayed about two hours and never got all of our food that we ordered. We sadly only saw our waitress three times in a two hour span and those visits were within the first 30 minutes and two of those times was for her to clarify what we ordered because she was looking at the lunch menu and we had ordered off the dinner menu. We had to flag down another server to get us refills on our water. We were brought different sushi rolls than what we ordered. The management or owners seemed to be bringing in decorations and balloons and such when they need to be focusing on the rush of customers that flooded the place. Give them time. I will update my review if I try it again, but they will need a lot of time to work out the kinks. It seems they opened prematurely. Do no spend money on the ice cream, it taste like the power went out and they tried to re freeze it. UPDATE: While waiting for our checks and desserts they must have sensed things were off or they are reading reviews live, because without asking management came over and apologized for wrong sushi rolls being delivered and the slow service. They made it right by offering the child in our party a free Japanese soda and taking our details so that way we can get 10% discount next time. I told the manager that spoke with us we understand it is opening week, and he admitted they were understaffed...
Read moreHere in MEM on my 1st out of 3 of my first wk of May '25 scheduled layovers. After settling in my hotel room I browsed Google for restraunts near me. I happen to come across this interesting all you can eat sushi concept from the comfort of your table and for the non sushi lovers but still love a good seafood boil they have a seperate seafood boil menu and it's also apart of the restraunt. But back to the sushi 🍣 because that's what I went for lol 😅 Serving an all-you-can-eat menu of soups/ appetizers, kitchen entrées like teriyaki, hibachi, tempura and katsu, fried rice, udon and/ or soba noodles, sashimi/ nigiri sushi rolls and yes a couple of dessert options too. You get the laminated menu w/ a dry erase marker after being seated and you mark what you're wanting to eat. The item(s) you choose for example if you order green muscles it comes in 2 pieces at a time, appetizer if fried calamari comes in 4 pieces, crab rangoon also 2 pieces. The waiter/ waitress picks up the menu once your finished marking the itemz and the food starts to show completely fresh made to order. This was such a kool and unique experience. I hope to see more of a these kine of restraunt concepts all over the world in the near future. Can't wait to get another good layover...
