2010 Gallery — Attraction in Merriam

Definitely worth scheduling a tour - easy too! Tim Morrison gave me and my disabled clients a very lovely and respectful tour, and we bought some prints well within our small budget. The paintings are breathtaking, the small gallery is laid out with a winding, exploratory, and well-lit path, easy to navigate with a wheelchair. The gallery consists of mostly figures and figure sculptures, from stunning and expert oil paintings, to rather new mixed media pieces. Artists ranged from all over Kansas City MoKan, with a few artists from around the USA.

The accessible gallery entrance is on a circular driveway on the West side. Tim guided us through, and was eager to connect us to art, as "it surpasses communication barriers."

We arrived on "2nd Saturday" when guest artists set up their tables. A family from Douglas County was selling walnut and cherry charcuterie serving boards, so we bought one.
