I sat on a ride that had no line at all for ten minutes while the operator messed around on his phone or chatted with another operator. They were totally wasting the time of everyone on the mostly full ride. It was near closing time and there were not more people coming to get on the ride. I finally got off the ride in disgust after they needlessly wasted so much of my time. This was not the first time I'd sat on a ride for a ridiculously long time
Almost every ride had significant broken pieces. Not a single ride operator spoke English, making it very difficult to communicate any issues with the ride. The few times I tried to communicate with the ride operators they were very rude.
The fact that tickets were still required for some rides after buying a wristband was very disappointing. For several rides operators would only load the ride to half capacity even though there was a constant significant line for the ride. At the same time that they were half-loading the ride they'd only let people on the ride if there were two riders. If they had a reason for this they couldn't communicate it because not a single one of them...
Read moreNone of the workers speak English so trying to communicate is difficult at best. My youngest is 41 inches. Thet have the rides set up so anyone under 42 must ride the kiddie rides only which is fine but my oldest is 8 and apparently too tall for the kiddie rides. Most of the kiddie rides do not list a maximum height so we didn't even know he couldn't ride until after waiting in line. When I told the worker there is no maximum height posted he wrote it with a sharpie "maximom" at the top of the sign. I don't know why our county continues to hire this group for our fair every year. Speaking English should be a requirement when you are working customer service jobs in America. Also forgot to mention I experienced many workers on their phones not doing their jobs. One worker even made us wait 5 minutes to open the ride while he sat there on his phone the whole time. All other rides were open and it was midday. There was no valid reason, that I could see for him to not open the ride. Seemed like he just wanted a...
Read moreI would give them negative stars if I could. Their customer online customer service is poor. My daughter bought a bracelet on 2 separate days because she thought she needed one to walk around. Her sibs weren't with her, otherwise, they would have told it wasn't needed. She didn't ride any of the rides and when I found out what she did, I tried to make contact to request a refund. I never received 1 response after leaving msgs and reaching out on their online contact form. Finally I reached out to the credit card company and they issued me a refund. My other 5 kids spent a ton of money with them at West Fest and Western Stampede which I told them about when I left messages. You would think they would at least be courteous enough to respond to one of my inquiries, but nope. They're unprofessional and greedy. I will think twice before I allow my kids to go to another one of their...
