Mesquite Fine Arts Center — Attraction in Mesquite

Local art done well. The staff was very friendly. As we travel full time, we are always looking for a memory from the places we visit. This fall it's been the southwest deserts. I saw a watercolor that stopped me in my tracks. It reminded me of the beautiful but sharply anointed desert plants we've encountered over the last 6 weeks. I couldn't stand it, a week later I had to go back and acquire the original art at a very fair price. The staff shared some info of the artist and her art media she also practices....

We were visiting Mesquite City and were able to stop by this art gallery. It’s very welcoming. All the items are unique creations by locals. Amy, the lady who attended us was very friendly and knowledgeable. Hobby bought me a pair of earrings made by her and he brought some photograph cards. We’ll return next time we visit the City of Mesquite. Wish we could attend some of the classes they...
