South Beach is a beautiful and spacious destination with soft white sand dotted with tiny seashells. The sand can get very hot due to its coarse texture, so I recommend wearing water shoes or Crocs for comfort.

The water has a nice clear tone, but the waves stir up the sand, making it look murkier at times. Unfortunately, there was a lot of sargassum (seaweed), which made swimming a bit unpleasant , it would be great if the beach were cleaned more regularly, like in some other countries.

Me and my girls came here on our girls trip to celebrate birthdays! We missed our reservation by a few mins due to not knowing exactly where this place was (we came from TN), well they sat us outside and said we’ll allow you to sit outside…. We did because we had already dressed up and walked in the heat to get there… prices were sky HIGH and although that was one thing we couldn’t control, the server was horrible. She kept looking around while taking our order, like she had other things to do, came and checked on us when she felt like it. I had to ask for something with another server.
