While in the area, we needed a convenient place to park, so we searched for nearby parking options and found Miami Beach Parking Garage. Fortunately, we were able to secure a spot without too much trouble, which was a relief given how busy the area can get.

The garage itself was well-maintained, and it felt safe, with security especially at night.

However, there was one notable drawback: the lanes leading to the upper levels were quite narrow, which made it a bit challenging to maneuver, especially for larger vehicles like vans or SUVs. DON'T BACK IN, YOU'LL GET A TICKET! In several of the pictures shared for this location you can see that many of the cars are backed into the parking spaces as I almost always do and as I did with a rental car. What I didn't know and wish the rental company had warned me about is that Florida doesn't have front license plates and it's against city ordinance to park backwards in a public parking space because it makes it more difficult for the meter maids to get your license plate. Even though I parked on the end of the row inside the garage where there is only a single space with no wall behind it and both ends of the car we're perfectly visible I was still ticketed. I have never been happier to park in a parking garage. $1/hour. Easy to find. You take a ticket when you drive in. Then take the ticket with you to the beach. Then when you come back, put the ticket in the machine by the elevators on the first floor. Then pay with your credit card. Your ticket will spit back out with the stamped payment amount. You will give the stamped ticket to the person at the check out gate. Viola, you are on your way. Warning: This is a very busy area, so the lot may be full if you come on the weekend or in the winter. We arrived there at 7PM on 6-30-17 and it was nearly full.
