I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fish Called Avalon in South Beach, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I've had in the area. From the moment I stepped inside, the vibrant atmosphere and stunning decor set the tone for an unforgettable evening.

The highlight of my visit, however, was the exceptional service provided by Renee, the bartender. Renee's expertise and passion for mixology truly elevated my dining experience. She took the time to recommend some incredible cocktails that perfectly complemented the fresh seafood on the menu. Her signature drink, a refreshing mango mojito, was a delightful balance of flavors that left me craving more.

What impressed me the most was Renee's warm and inviting personality. She was attentive without being intrusive, making sure our glasses were always full and that we felt right at home. Her recommendations for food were spot on, and she even shared some fascinating stories about the restaurant's history, making the experience feel personal and unique.

The food at Fish Called Avalon was nothing short of spectacular. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and each dish was beautifully presented. I highly recommend the grilled fish tacos and the ceviche – they were absolute standouts!

Overall, Fish Called Avalon is a must-visit spot in South Beach, and I can't thank Renee enough for her outstanding service. Her talent behind the bar and genuine hospitality made my visit truly special. I can't wait to return for more delicious food and those...

This is a fun place to dine that also has some of the best food I have ever had.

We had some amazing dishes starting with the lobster bisque that was over the top good. Could have made a meal on that but we kept going.

For dinner, I had the grouper which was quite good, it had a buttery sauce and crab meet over a bed of spinach. Perfectly cooked with a delicate flavor. My wife had the encrusted redfish which was even better than my grouper and that is saying a lot because the grouper was perfect. I ended up taking a chunk of the redfish from my wife, she is little and could not eat it all anyway.

After dinner, we were so full that we almost skipped desert until we found out they specialize in my favorite which is key lime pie. They said they won an award for having the best Keylime in America. I believe it, definately the best I have ever had. We did finish the pie and it was so good, wish I could get this at home.

As stated above, the food was exceptional and award winning but this place has more to offer. It is a beautiful restraunt in a beautiful location at the core of South Beach. The service was very good and the location also offers outdoor tables where you can watch all of the interesting people go by, sort of dinner with a show.

I have had great meals at countless high end dining establishments all over the world, A Fish Called Avalon just made it to my favorite list. Definately coming back on my next...

My recent dining experience at A Fish Called Avalon in South Beach Miami was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality, setting the tone for a memorable evening.

The ambiance of A Fish Called Avalon is sophisticated yet inviting. The soft lighting and elegant furnishings create a cozy atmosphere perfect for a romantic dinner or an intimate gathering with friends.

Now, let’s talk about the food. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The grouper, cooked to perfection, was tender and flaky. The octopus was a true standout, grilled to perfection. The tuna tartare was a revelation, featuring the freshest cuts of tuna.

And let’s not forget about dessert. The key lime pie was the perfect ending to an already exquisite meal. Creamy yet refreshing, with just the right amount of tanginess, it was a slice of heaven on a plate.

But what truly set A Fish Called Avalon apart was the impeccable service, thanks to Charles and Giorgio. From the moment we were seated until the end of our meal, Giorgio and Charles went above and beyond to ensure a flawless dining experience. Their attentiveness and genuine hospitality elevated our evening.

In conclusion, A Fish Called Avalon is a gem in the heart of South Beach Miami, offering not only excellent food but also impeccable service and an unforgettable...

What is better than having amazing seafood at south beach? After Covid, so many restaurants food and service quality deteriorated so quickly, it’s almost a gamble to do even expensive restaurants. We walked in here with the same suspicion. Only ordered a cold soup and oyster to do a test before dumping $200 here. Beyond expectations, the Gazpacho, a well-known cold Spanish soup made from raw, blended vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, bell peppers, and garlic, often with olive oil and vinegar, was so perfectly made and presented. The fresh scallops and shrimp inside was the perfect addition. We are determined to order more food from them. The branzino (Brazilian sea bass) was more than amazing. Look at the pictures. Then they also had specials - crab stuffed lobster. I had to get the it for the sake of crabs. Nothing was deeply fried, no flour crust, no cheap stuff, just pure enjoyment of every bite. They change their menu from time to time, what new surprises could we have next time? 🌹🌹🌹 P.S. the view, is beautiful. The weather, couldn’t be better. The outdoor seating, is as nice as indoor upscale seating. And their live music is classic and pleasant! Not some noisy cheap night club music.
