South Beach Car Park — Local services in Miami Beach

My all-time favourite beach. It’s beautiful, white sand, clean, there are lifeguards on duty, public restrooms, parking meters for your vehicles, plenty of restaurants serving different cuisines - check for happy hours & shows. The beach also has volley ball. There are also souvenir shops which also sell essentials like water, sunscreen etc. Shops sell apparel, hats, gifts, sunglasses etc. You’ll get everything from beach wear to designer sunglasses. The space is located right at the beach next to south pointe park. There is a lot of rush during the peak hours. We reached the lot around 3 pm on a weekend and couldn't find any vacant space in here. They have a lot of slots reserved for valet and that doesn't help the cause either. I would say that the number of slots are not enough to cater to the demand. Not just this parking lot, it's almost impossible to find any place on the roadside in and around the beach area. I finally got to park around 1 mile far on the roadside and had to walk all the way...

The beach has changed. From old retired rockingchairers with white zinc noses to upscale Europeans with a tan and Vuitton lyggage to HipHop Brooklyn in a thong with hair extensions loud voices and an extra 80 pounds. If they went topless, you wouldnt notice. You would be too busy trying to find the Casa de los Jugos that closed . Oh, and go to the bathroom before you hit the road. Traffic is two hours to get back...
