Gelato-go South Beach — Restaurant in Miami Beach

I visited this gelato place for the second time because I had such a great experience the first time with their cannolis. Naturally, I decided to come back and try their gelato, but unfortunately, this visit was a huge disappointment.

They have a note that says you can only try one flavor, which is understandable. I asked for a single sample since I was planning to buy a cup with multiple scoops and wanted to make a good choice. However, the girl serving me gave me the sample with such a bothered face, as if she were doing me a favor. This same attitude was shown to everyone in my group, making the experience awkward and uncomfortable for all of us.

If offering a single sample is such a bother for the staff, then they should simply stop offering samples altogether. It’s not about the policy—it’s about how the staff treats customers. This kind of attitude really ruins the experience, no matter how good the gelato might be.

Would I come back? Probably not, given how unwelcoming the service was this time. It’s disappointing when customer service doesn’t match the quality of the product. And no, the store wasn’t crowded when we ordered, it was my group and two...

Cute ice cream shop. We got the Uber Eats BOGO 3-scoop ice cream for 9.70 USD. The portions were good for the price that we paid, but at regular price, not worth the 10$ price tag. The employee was obviously trying her best to stuff the small cup with ice cream, but the container was just so small. Pretty good ice cream. I’d recommend the mango and mascarpone / nutella flavours.

It was a particularly windy and hot day. One my way back to the park (where my family was waiting), the ice cream started melting and dripping all over. Naturally I went back to the ice cream shop with hands dripping of ice cream to ask for a sink and soap. One of the employees (who wasn’t there when I’d picked up the ice cream) told me that it was only for customers with a somewhat unpleasant / snobbish attitude. In the end I was recognized by the employee who served me and was able to access the sink.

Overall, it was an okay experience, and I definitely don’t recommend coming here unless you get the 2 for 1 Uber Eats deal. Not worth it at...

A decade ago, this place was first on the list when vacationing in Miami Beach. Over the years, the quality has decreased so we’ve been frequenting the competition every year. We decided to give it another try tonight, and to our disappointment, the staff absolutely ruined our experience. It was to the point that we walked out. After witnessing the off-putting attitude that was given to the party ahead of us, we waited our turn politely and knew our order, however all THREE employees went about having their own conversation & never even made eye contact or acknowledged us. We just stood there. I purposely allowed enough time for each of them to address us & after all failed to offer any customer service, we left.
