After spending $70 for two little bags at this store I privately wrote them a review and got a very interesting reply from the store and I’d like to share it here with you:
Cashier wouldn’t look away from her phone a single minute as she’s scanning my purchases. Receipt prints out and she’s staring at her phone as I’m looking at her waiting... After a while she finally remembers I’m still there and hands me the receipt as she’s staring at her phone. I had to return to get refunded as she charged me for an extra item.
Their reply was:
“Hi, sorry for the inconvenience. I just checked the camera footage and I saw she was at the phone, but you as well took some time browsing the store, exchanging the frozen coxinha, talking to your friend, looking all over the store like trying to finding anything else. You never looked directly at her to tell her you’re done. But anyway sorry for all I convenience caused at your first time at our store and we do record everything that happens. Thank you again for the understanding”
To which I replied:
I find your reply extremely unprofessional as you’re blaming ME for her being on the phone throughout her interactions with a customer. “But you as well”, since you checked the cameras, should’ve seen that when I walked back from exchanging the coxinhas had the cashier person (that was helping me originally) switched.
That girl that assumed the position was the entire time on her phone the moment the other customer let me go ahead of him till check out. Maybe if she hadn’t been paying attention to something else she wouldn’t have over charged me.
I’m still SHOCKED that you’re capable of talking like that to one of your customers. “Looking all over the store”. I’m so sorry I “looked all over the store trying to find anything else” to buy. I will not be making that mistake again and I’ll make sure “my friend” doesn’t either.
I wasn’t but I’ll be now extending this review to google, yelp and any other sources so others don’t make the same mistake I made.

Ainda em Miami, eu queria comprar alguns produtos brasileiros para dar de presente no natal. Como não me responderam a tempo, então voltei pra minha cidade sem o que queria. Quando me responderam dois dias depois, falei que não precisava mais pq já não estava mais em Miami. A pessoa disse que daria pra fazer o envio (no dia seguinte) se eu quisesse. Isso era 14 de dezembro. Decidi fazer a compra então. Hoje, dia 24 de dezembro, não recebi a compra. Nunca me enviaram o número de rastreio para eu me organizar. E, pedi o número por 1 semana. Ou seja, natal amanhã. Sem a entrega! Que, GARANTIRAM que chegaria em dois dias. Calma, ainda piora. Enviei mensagem nas redes sociais porque deixaram de responder no WhatsApp. Aí a dona (acredito) ou a responsável pela a loja me liga, com tanta ignorância (pelo o erro deles) dizendo que eu tinha sido a responsável por alguém ser demitido na véspera de natal (rsrs). E que ela não chegaria ao seu destino de natal com seus filhos (por minha culpa). E que eu estava estragando o natal de muita gente (o meu não, né?!). Me ofereceu dinheiro pagar a metade pra “resolver” a situação. O que acontece é que, falta RESPEITO, RESPONSABILIDADE e HONESTIDADE com o cliente, estão longe de ter.
