We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Courtyard Marriott Downtown Miami for three nights and four days. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with exceptional care and professionalism, especially by a front desk agent named David. David’s warm hospitality, attentiveness, and humility stood out to us. He went the extra mile to ensure our stay was not just comfortable, but truly memorable. Whether it was providing local recommendations or addressing any of our needs, David did everything with a level of care and dedication that was genuinely remarkable. It’s rare to encounter someone so committed to making guests feel valued and taken care of. Thanks to David and the rest of the staff, our time in Miami was absolutely amazing. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for outstanding service and a welcoming atmosphere. Excellent place to stay in, especially if you are planning to walk to Bayfront Park, Miami. It’s walking distance. Hotel always smells good and rooms are cleaned. Front desk always pick up my calls, great staff! This was our second visit, and we are so looking forward to coming back whenever visiting Miami!

Stayed for work, and wouldn’t come back. One of only three elevators was broke for my entire week stay with no convenient stair access (was pointed to a utility staircase in the parking garage that likely shouldn’t be for public use). This frustrated virtually every guest I spoke with. Internet also went out hotel-wide right before an important meeting that left me scrambling in addition to multiple tests of the fire alarm (maybe not their fault, but collectively frustrating). Now for the real problem: when booking the room I requested no cleaning service. While in a virtual meeting in my hotel room, a staff person knocked on my door with the do not disturb sign on, and asked if I wanted the room done. I said no, and politely informed him I was in a meeting. I came back to the room a few hours later for the room to still be serviced. I have sensitive work materials, so was incredibly frustrated to have to explicitly request 3 separate times for staff to respect my privacy, despite the do not disturb on the door. I would not recommend this location, and was just thankful that my female coworkers did not have to experience this.

Our stay at the Courtyard Marriott Brickell didn’t get off to a great start. Despite calling ahead to inform the hotel of our delayed arrival, our reserved double room was given away, and we were placed in a king room with a couch instead. This was especially frustrating because we booked a double room to avoid sharing a bed. Initially, the compensation offered—complimentary breakfast—felt like a token gesture that didn’t quite match the inconvenience we experienced.

But here’s where things took a turn for the better—Andrew, the front desk manager, absolutely saved the day. From the moment he stepped in, he was incredibly empathetic and proactive. He listened carefully to our concerns and went above and beyond to make things right. Not only did he ensure we were properly compensated, but his genuine professionalism and dedication to guest satisfaction completely turned our experience around.

Andrew is a true asset to this property. His ability to handle a tough situation with grace and ensure that we left feeling valued speaks volumes about his leadership. Thanks to Andrew’s exceptional service, we’re leaving with a much better impression of the hotel. If you’re staying here and need anything, trust that Andrew will take care of it!)

I booked a double bed room at the Courtyard Marriott Brickell back in early February. My check-in was yesterday, but due to a flight delay, we arrived later than expected. I called ahead to inform the hotel, and they assured me a note would be placed on my reservation. However, upon arrival, we were told that our room had been given away without any real explanation and that we were being placed in a king room with a couch instead.

This was incredibly frustrating, as we specifically booked a double room to avoid sharing a bed. When we originally made our reservation, the king room was priced lower than the double, yet we were told there was "no price difference" when they switched us. That might be the case now, but it wasn't when we booked--which makes this even more disappointing.

To make matters worse, no meaningful compensation was offered--just complimentary breakfast. It felt like an insult rather than a resolution. A discount or proper accommodation adjustment should have been provided upfront, instead of me having to ask to speak to a manager just to get any consideration.

Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing, and as of now, we are still waiting for our room to be switched. I expected better from Marriott, especially in a busy area like Brickell. Very disappointed in how poorly this situation...

I recently was a guest staying at the Marriot Courtyard downtown Miami and unfortunately underwent various unnecessary and disturbing experiences with my sister. My sister and I are well aware and very respectful to the new Covid strict restrictions with staying in hotels.  We are faithful and stay in Marriotts everywhere we travel. Unfortunately, this is by far the worst experience we have had. To start off, after my sister and I arrived after a day of traveling we walked into our room with disgustingly stained towels and a half roll of toilet paper- one being totally empty.  After a long day this was the last thing we wanted to deal with. We called down and were told that we could access any needed supplies the next day between 9-4.  A day went by, still no toilet paper or clean unstained towels. The following morning, again, we called down to the front desk around 10 am to request new towels, toilet paper rolls, and new sheets (due to a spillage on the bed).  After being out all day and coming home we still had to call down to the front desk again, now at 6:15 , because none of the necessary supplies had been delivered. This was now the third time we had to call and it was Friday night at 6:15 is when the front desk finally provided us with necessary materials.  For the mean time we used dirty sunscreen filled pool towels to shower and tissues for the bathroom.

To end it all, on our last day/night we had to request more than once (because we were not offered) to move to a new room due to safety concerns.  Saturday our door was left open when returning home after a day of being out.  Security was able to see that a guest room key was swiped while my sister and I were no where in the area and entered our room at 3:55 PM.  My sister and I left the hotel that morning at 11 AM and did not return until 6 PM. It was not until 12:17 AM that we were approved to move to a new room due to a manager being in, which at that point was absurd. We had to at this time pack up our belongings and move, at this hour was ludicrous as it should’ve been done when we reported the incident at 6pm. To finalize, my sister and I have both spent hours on the phone trying to voice our high concerns of this stay and have sent attached pictures (to this email) as well as forwarded them to corporate. We feel like the hotel staff took no priority in making our stay safe, clean, or worth while, especially during a global wide pandemic. Lastly, all hotel cleaning staff...

The Courtyard Miami Downtown/Brickell is a modern, well-rated hotel located in the heart of Miami's vibrant downtown and Brickell areas, making it a convenient choice for both business and leisure travelers. Guests often appreciate the hotel's central location, which is close to popular attractions like the Bayside Marketplace, Miami Riverwalk, and the financial district, as well as being within a short distance of South Beach and Little Havana.

Pros: Location: The hotel's location is one of its biggest draws. It’s situated in the bustling Brickell neighborhood, known for its lively restaurants, bars, and shopping options. Public transportation, including the Metromover and Metrorail, is also easily accessible.

Modern Amenities: The hotel offers a range of contemporary amenities, such as an outdoor pool, fitness center, and business facilities. The rooms are clean and functional, with comfortable beds, spacious layouts, and good-sized bathrooms. Free Wi-Fi is available, and the hotel also features a full-service restaurant and café for dining options.

Friendly Service: Many guests have praised the courteous and helpful staff, noting that the service is generally efficient and welcoming.

Comfortable Rooms: Rooms are often described as being well-appointed with modern furnishings, large flat-screen TVs, and decent workspaces. While not luxurious, they are functional and comfortable for short stays.

Cons: Noise: Some guests have mentioned that the hotel can be noisy, especially those on lower floors facing the street. The Brickell area is known for its lively nightlife, which can affect the comfort of light sleepers.

Small Pool Area: The outdoor pool, while nice for a quick dip, is small and can get crowded during peak times, limiting its appeal for guests seeking a more relaxed pool experience.

Price: As with many hotels in downtown Miami, the rates can be on the higher side, especially during peak seasons or major events, which may not provide the best value compared to other properties in the area.

Overall: The Courtyard Miami Downtown/Brickell** offers a solid option for travelers who want a centrally located, modern, and reasonably priced hotel with good amenities. It’s ideal for those planning to explore Miami's downtown and Brickell areas, though noise-sensitive guests should be mindful of the busy...
