Static Age — Attraction in Michigan City

I was quite surprised to see such a well stocked and organized record shop in Michigan City. My son even remarked how easy it was to find what he was looking for. I found a great selection of punk, hardcore, indie, alternative, and pop albums. My only regret is that I wish I hadn't spent most of my record budget in Chicago the previous day because Static Age had far more records that I was looking for. I will definitely visit again the next time...

I was really impressed by this place. Cool atmosphere, good music being played, and everything was organized well. I bought a Nirvana album and really appreciated the care that had been put into maintaining it. There is definitely something for everyone here. Super cool little record store! Great selection with the perfect amount to flip through without getting tired of flipping through a bunch random stuff. Categorized very well, short and sweet curated collection full of bangers. Owner is super kind and willing to talk about the hobby, etc. Felt very personalized, I actually bought 2 records, both of which the owner had been spinning while I was in there. Nothin'...
