I wanted to try a different furniture store & so I ordered. Mistake 1, think twice before ordering from a book not seeing it in person. Not too happy with my bedroom set, it dont look like the photo in the book which Dan said MOST DONT..but yet they have books for you to look thru to order from but there's no return policy. On the back of the contract it READS. NO REFUNDS IN STORE CREDIT. I spoke to Dan who was VERY RUDE didn't let me finish about the set, cut me off because he said he has customers... Um I am a customer. He told me to put it on the market. If I came to look at it before it arrived then they would've charged a stock fee & did in store credit. He said because of covid. Which is an excuse, because I can argue the same, once the set came to their warehouse sitting in the open, where other customers, including the owners, came in contact with it, I could've said i no longer want it delivered due to covid. Besides that when I first came to the store, neither Dan or Lori wore masks. It says that no where on the back of the contract if furniture is delivered, you can't exchange. I am willing to pay the 25% stock fee. Lori called back & when I mentioned that, she said we can't put everything in the contract.. Huh.. Isn't that what contacts are for. They just want to get out of what their policy states. Actually they still Would be coming out on top because im losing money along with having to put the difference towards another set. Very disappointed. They want you to support local business & they do people like this. Bad business not honoring your contracts. ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS & READ THE CONTRACT BEFORE GIVING YOUR MONEY & SIGNING. & I DONT RECOMMEND ORDERING FROM THEIR BOOKS SINCE DAN STATED MOST THE PHOTOS ARE SETUP TO JUST MAKE THE FURNITURE LOOK GOOD

Read moreDon't purchase off the floor; we purchased a lot of furniture, three bedroom sets, a dining room set with a leaf extension, and s Sectional. First of all the delivery people are not respectable. The dining table leaf extension was scratched up and a screw to attach the headboard for the king set was stripped. First, the delivery was delayed and again, delivery guys (basically movers) were kinda scary. When I reached out to one of the owners , (they are husband and wife) the husband told the mover to paint furniture stain to repair, which made the scratches more notable. I asked for a replacement, to which the owner refused. With all they being said, the best part of the purchase was not being charged sales tax due to having the furniture delivered out of KY. Buyer beware, the wife is great at sales, the quiet husband is the enforcer. Their dogs are lovely though. Wonder why they got rid the Thomasville furniture business they had? *Rebuttal to Louisville Furniture How dare you criticize my experience!!!!! Few people purchase furniture, especially the amount we purchased with their own delivery set-up. Unless they go to IKEA; which I wish we had. Read moreMy fiancé and I were so excited to shop for our first bedroom furniture set and we loved what Louisville furniture had to offer. However we now have had an issue with our king headboard, and both the nightstands for over two months now since delivery. We were supposed to have two lighted nightstands, and a lighted headboard neither of which work. When we first noticed this issue, they sent somebody out a month later to attempt to fix the headboard and nightstands, and it did not work. Now another month has gone by, and the lights are on back order- something we didn’t know until we had to call to find out. The issue still is not resolved and we have had the furniture for 2 months now.
It is frustrating having to make payments on furniture that does not work. Yes, they are “working” on the issue but this should have been dealt with months ago. I just now was able to finally get the sales reps phone number after two months of this issue because Louisville furniture has told me “it’s no longer in their hands.” It overall just seems like they’re trying to sell you furniture and not fix issues that customers have. Hopefully this issue will be resolved, if not, we would not recommend buying...
