Went to this location today to have 2 frame mats cut to the size I needed. Employee I believe who’s name is Pam, blonde hair, older lady was more than rude, she was very condescending and inappropriate. I patiently waited for her to help me, she was very busy and the only one working in frames today. Very understandable and did not have an issue with that at all. She had quite the expression that she did not want to help me when it was my turn. I told her my dimension I needed cut and she went to the back to cut them. As I waited I walked to another aisle to browse. Apparently another woman had walked up to her counter and continuously rang the bell for assistance. I was not around or aware of this. I approached the counter after a few minutes to see if she had finished and as she walked out she scolded me in front of the other customer as to why I had not told the woman that she was busy in the back cutting mats for me. I looked at her very bewildered as to what she was talking about and she continued to belittle and scorn both me and the other customer as to how rude we were to wait for assistance, and maybe she was in the bathroom or busy doing something. I told her I was down another aisle and she continued to be so rude and inappropriate. She treated me as a child and was wildly rude. I could not let this interaction go unmentioned as I understand what it’s like to be alone and be so busy and having to multitask everything as I am a nurse. She failed miserably at this and hope this matter happens to...
Read moreHobby Lobby is one of my go-to stores whenever I need craft supplies, home décor, or seasonal decorations. The selection is huge, and I can almost always find exactly what I’m looking for, whether it’s for a personal project, a gift, or something to decorate my home. Their seasonal aisles are especially fun to browse, and I like how they rotate items well ahead of each holiday so you have plenty of time to prepare.
The staff here is always friendly and approachable. I’ve had multiple occasions where an employee has gone out of their way to help me find an item or suggest alternatives if something was out of stock. They greet customers warmly and make the experience pleasant from the moment you walk in.
The store is clean and organized, which makes it easy to navigate even on busy days. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that sometimes checkout lines can get long during peak hours, and I wish they had more cashiers available then. Overall, Hobby Lobby is a great place to shop if you enjoy arts, crafts, or decorating your home, and the friendly staff make it...
Read moreA potential bad visit had a happy ending! Today is my first sewing class and I am VERY new to the craft/DIY world. I had a list of supplies I needed and had no idea to start. I asked a representative in the fabrics area for help and she was not willing to help me.. I clearly stated that I needed help finding items. She pointed to the catalogs and I struggled for 20 minutes trying to find what I needed. I popped over to the next aisle and I found Joanne, who was eager to help and excited for me about my interest in leaning how to sew! She walked me around the store helping me find the supplies I needed without making me feel like a bother. If it wasn't for Joanne's help I would have postponed my sewing class and order everything online. Joanne, thank you for making my visit a successful one!
The gruntled employee was clearly having a bad day and made everyone aware of it while she was cutting my fabric. I sincerely hope her week gets better! Keep your head up, your hard work...
