Speed of Sound Technologies — Attraction in Milford

I have been coming here for many years now. They have tinted several of my vehicles and they always come out great! They also installed an amplifier and speakers and did a nice job with that too. I have had tints done elsewhere and they either use cheap film that fades and turns purple, or they do a terrible job. One place (located in milford/Devon -but I think they went out of business) even used two peices of film on side window of my truck and left untinted gaps all over the vehicle and thought that was acceptable... But not here! Milton and his team at speed of sound use good quality film and the quality of their work is impeccable! I have kept one of my cars for 8years now and the windows still look as good as the day they were done.

Update 8/18/17- I came back to have my new 2017 GMC Denali HD tinted, and once again, the job came out great! Milton also informed me they have a new warranty on their tints where if you get a ticket for tinted windows he will remove the tints for free. Also, he will give a one time credit up to $100 to re-do tints if any tint job he did gets damaged (which is great because I have a dog that managed to scratch the window in my old truck). I originally had a full component system installed in Fort Myers, FL at a place called Audio Connection sometime in 2010. Lately, I noticed the JL Audio Clean Sweep was starting to cut out. Just yesterday, I was getting no sound at all from my speakers. Obviously, going to Florida was not an option and found this place online. I took it to Speed of Sound today, and Melinton came out and was extremely helpful. He took the time to troubleshoot all connections and determined it was a loose connection. Sure enough, he found a cable that was completely corroded and fixed it. Remember, this wasn't even installed by them, but Audio Connection in FL!

Not only that, but he went through and saw a few other problems in the original install in that was done in Florida and made some corrections. I am taking it back tomorrow to get optimized and make sure all connections are where and what they should be for the best sound possible. The price was very reasonable for the service as well as part(s) needed.

I will be taking my wife's car and mine here whenever for any after market system work needed. I will also be recommending to my friends and colleagues. Highly recommended, Great...

I went to Speed of Sound to see what it would take to put an 8-inch woofer in my Tacoma. Told the guy behind the counter exactly that and within seconds he forgot what I told him which means he wasn't paying attention at all. On the way out to my truck he said "so we're going to put this in your Tundra"? I had to remind him that it was a Tacoma. Then after looking over my interior, he said "we can fit a 10-inch woofer in here with no problem". I had to remind him that I was there for an 8-inch woofer. He gave me a rough idea of what the cost would be then took my information so he could email me a solid quote. For me, $150 and hour with a 2-hour install is not worth it. I'll do it myself. Others may be ok with that much of an hourly charge but to me that's a bit much. By the way.........I'm still waiting for that quote days later. I see that they have a lot of reviews and a high score when it comes to stars but for me, the experience there was terrible.
