My experience here was interesting. I was 10 min late because my phone was broken and they have the wrong address posted so I got lost. The lady that did my pedicure was nice about it and said it was okay. However, she started rushing my appointment after she did the basics, skipped the massage, kept looking at her appointment book, asked me what time it is, etc. I hate being late and I'm always on a schedule so I can understand why she is that way but I was there to relax and she made that hard for me. There was also a woman in the room next to us yelling at someone on the phone ( with the door open) about a post she made on Facebook about her and how she called her a wolf in sheep's clothing, etc. This went on for a good 10 minutes which also made it hard to relax. I feel like a conversation like that needed to be had in private, not in a spa. To top it off I had a buff and polish done on my nails and the woman doing my appointment didn't want to do the color I picked because it was too dark and would make me have "stubby fingers". Really I think it's because she didn't want to take the time to do more than one coat. She told me she didn't have time to do a better job because I was late! At that point I had a huge headache and just wanted to leave so I told her to do whatever she wants. I left stressed out and with a clear coat on my nails. Lol... It definitely wasn't worth $75 and it's safe to say that I will...
Read moreMy daughter bought me a massage for Fathers Day in 2012. There wasn't a certificate or anything to show for it..she said they don't have one and she had made an appointment but they would call me a day or two before to confirm and I could change it to a day that works for me. I moved it out about a month three different times for various reasons. In late October I made a new appointment for a Saturday in November and I made an appointment for my wife to be with me. The appointment was at noon and at 12:10 I received a call asking if we were still coming. They always called to confirm a day or to before and they had not done it this time. I had forgot the appointment and I don't even know their location let alone the phone number so I could change it. Remember they do not offer a certificate. I asked her and it was the same gal I had talked to the other times why they never called and she said its just a courtesy call and they do not have to do it. She informed me my massage/gift card had been cancelled and my daughter would just be out the money she had spent. She also said she would talk to the owner and have them call me. It never happened and I know wonder if she even told them she forgot to call. That is my experience with the day spa and I believe its wrong...
Read moreI received a gift certificate from my husband and was really looking forward to using it. I came in yesterday for a massage, which was mediocre at best. Since I still had a balance on the gift card, I decided to try a facial this morning.
My appointment was at 8:00 AM. I arrived at 7:59 and wasn’t taken back until 8:28 by Anna. She casually apologized for the delay and joked, “Hope you’re not busy today,”—and when I told her I was extremely busy, she laughed. Before we started, I asked to use the restroom. During what was supposed to be a 90-minute session, most of the time was spent with her grabbing products, as she was not at all prepared for my appointment. She was extremely rough on my face—to the point where I left with visible bruising, swelling, and even some bleeding.
At the end, I asked to use the restroom again and Anna remarked, “That’s why we started late,” as if my quick trip to the bathroom (after her 28-minute delay) was the problem.
If it weren’t for the gift certificate, I wouldn’t...
