Awesome experience! My crossfit gym in Washington uses Mayhem, but it was hard to find one in Milwaukee. However, the aesthetic at Brew City crossfit, equipment, staff, and the overall facilities were amazing. I explained to the coach that I do crossfit regularly, but the terminology was different and they knew were to start from there. Class times were great and the sizes weren't overwhelming. The best part is that this place is dead square in the valley right off a rail yard and the train passes while you're working out. If you're a dork like me, you'd be excited too. I did a couple of drop ins for $20 and for $5 more you get a cool t-shirt. Strongly recommend. Especially if you're dropping in from out of town.

Really cool spot to get into and build your journey into powerlifting and CrossFit. I’m not a big ā€˜focus on power’ guy, but this was a pretty good workout for me. You definitely decide how hard you want to push yourself here. There’s the option of classes (with little to no personal, professional guidance) or an open gym with plenty of options to dial in. Sounds like the price is about $110/mo if you sign up annually. Personally, i think I would choose a place with a more personal coaching approach but it’s up to you whether you need safety in learning the workouts of CrossFit; whether you need access to a space for CrossFit; or whether you want a social meaning connected to gym time.

Huge gym. They're able to have two classes going on at the same time and still have a ridiculous amount of space open. They were a ton of people there. Very well equipped. Great workouts. They seem to have very intentional and well thought out programming. Coaching was pretty chill, not a lot of instruction during the workout, but they explained everything at the beginning of class.

I never considered myself a strong person. Never lifted weights in my life. I still don't consider myself a strong person but I'm significantly stronger than I was when I joined BrewCity at the beginning of the pandemic. I've always played basketball my whole life. Since joining I feel much more robust and explosive when playing. Since joining BrewCity I also feel more stout when doing various activities around my life, like shoveling snow and hauling kids around. BrewCity is a super welcoming place as well. They have individuals of all levels, from elite to beginner, older and younger. They always help you find your level and push you to...
