Mostly outdoor seating as it is right on the river. Where MANY people would enjoy this, I personally cannot stand eating outside in summer. Spring and Fall, absolutely. But I cannot stand eating in the heat. So their indoor seating leaves much to be desired. Air flow is terrible and even though the booths are deep, they are still somehow also cramped. I ordered the Twisted Crab Cakes appetizer as my dinner along with sides of mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Perfectly portioned to be a full meal. I forgot to take a picture of what was actually put in front of me, but the menu photo (included below) is damn near spot on. The only difference is instead of the zig-zag pattern of the sauce, it was just a straight pour. Obviously no affect on the taste. The crab cakes are WONderful. So creamy and mild, with a fabulous flavor kick in the sauce. But not so much as to mask the flavor of the crab cakes themselves. Absolutely zero shell pieces that can ruin the experience you often find elsewhere. Other people in my group ordered various types of fish and no one had any complaints. I will be back in the fall to enjoy the river in cooler weather.

This was our 3rd time doing a boat cruise with river walk boats. In my opinion, the person manning this boat was anything short of pleasant. Upon leaving the Twisted Fisherman, he stated there would be music. By the time we got to Motor HarleyDavidson we did not get one song in at all. All we heard was advertising...perhaps change the channel? When using the restroom, the floor was soaked and it seemed the toilet was over flowed. I feel as if this was the first trip of the day, should things be a bit more tidy? Upon heading to the 2nd stop, we mentioned we would like music to stop 3 and were told we had to play the music. Is this how it really goes? We have not had to do that in the past.... Going from stop 2 to 3 the "captain" (if that's what you call him) had a terrible time parking to let us unload. He must have hit the decks about 4 times....in addition to the people waiting to board having not so nice words while they were boarding. My concern here is this....for the cost per person (our boats were full from stop one to two and stop two to three). One drink and app at each stop is a reasonable price to pay for good fun I feel. This last experience however was not so good. The apps were not so fresh. Cold fries and think nacho cheese is just not appetizing at Twisted fisherman.... At Motor--Harley Davidson, they had an amazing sloppy Pete sandwich... although too was luke warm and the bread was hard and crunchy and the rum drinks were extremely watered down, and to top it off at stop 3...getting 4 small meatballs or 4 cheese curds as an app--at a pizza place was very disappointing. We had a party of 12 do this and I feel things could have been a bit better for the price

This place is made to host big parties. That’s the one thing that I’ll consider coming back for. They have a massive outdoor area with ping pong tables, bags/cornhole, and other games. Plus, they even have shipping containers that you can hang out in. Feels like something you’d see at a Vegas pool club - only it’s the Milwaukee riverfront lol. Who says we can have fun here?? Anyways… Food: mediocre. Over fried shrimp. Probably one of the worst fish fries I’ve had in a while sadly. Fryer oil was likely old for their Friday fish fry. The sides weren’t special either. Drinks: if you’re a rum drinker then you’re in luck! Huge selection of specialty rum cocktails. I prefer tequila. However, I passed on a drink after hearing it was made with a store bought mix. Environment: like said before, great environment for groups! The bar is really nice too. Plus, they have a bunch of booths that are pretty private. Service: it was weird walking in here at 8ish on a Friday. No one greeted us. I had to track someone down to ask if I should seat ourselves. Then, we were forgotten about by the server for 10-15 minutes. BUT she was super sweet and got an appetizer for us on the house. We def appreciated that! I’ll also add, seemed like they had hella staff and they were just doing their own thing and getting drunk. Plenty of mis delivered plates. Kind of seemed like staff had no clue what was going on.

We started out with the fried calamari and peel & eat shrimp. The pieces of calamari were small, but the shrimp was good with a nice flavor. We had just started our apps when the main food was delivered. Husband and I both got the fried cod fish fry. 4 pieces with choice of 2 sides and rye bread (no butter given) for $16. Not AYCE. He had mac and cheese with baked beans. He enjoyed both. I ordered the garlic mashed potatoes but received Mac and cheese. When the server delivered my food, I told her about the error, and she reached across my plate and took the bowl off my plate, which caught me off guard. The daughter had the crab legs at market price, which were $32 for 2 clusters. Some of the legs were pliable, so she couldn't use the cracker to open them or try to snap them because they would just bend. Our waiter was very nice and did a great job checking to see if we needed things. The food was just okay at this visit. Our bill came to $115.00 for 3 people. Everything felt very rushed, and they weren't busy at 5 pm. on a Friday, which is when we were there. The patios are open, and sitting by the river was very nice

Was Seated right away. Asked for a seat as close to the water and the hostest went outside and out of her way to check. Found the prefect spot right by the man made beach they created. Our waitress was really friendly and attentive. Food was very good and the price was fair. Got crab cakes (14$) 6 oysters with parmesan baked on them (12$) ribs with a side (28$) crab legs with an extra cluster (32$ extra cluster 16$) and apple cobbler (I believe around 8-10$). The Atmosphere is what really caught my attention. My wife made a comment that it almost felt like when we go on vacation. They have a man made beach with bags so you can play while you wait, propane fire pits, lounge chairs for sun bathing, and cabanas made out of storage containers (they are still fighting the city to be able to reopen them due to permit issues?) They also had docks right there off the canal so if you have a boat you can pull right up and get eating. We will be back.

One of my favorite places to dine with family or a date night. Love the food & atmosphere. Very verse menu & drink options. Going back real soon.
