We tried to go to one place but due to it being so busy, we opted to try The Twisted Fisherman. I wish we would have waited at the other place. The staff was friendly when we arrived and was seated. We were happy to be seated right next to the river but unfortunately, once the sun sets, there is minimal lighting at best. We seen multiple people using their phones to read the menu or put lighting on there table to see their food.

We ordered drinks but they never came. We ordered calamari to start and it was not very good but we were hungry, so we ate it. We ordered the cod fish fry with Mac n cheese for a side, coleslaw and fries. The fish was very greasy and had no flavor at all. The mac n cheese was very bland and tasted oily with a gritty texture. I took a bite if my coleslaw and it was terrible, almost as though it was spoiled. It was warm and it was to dark to even see. I thought maybe it was just a bad bite and tried again, nope, terrible. I had my boyfriend try it just to see if it was me and he literally spit it back into the container and said that is spoiled. In 7 & 1/2 years I have never seen him spit food out. And to make it worse, we never got our drinks to even help wash the bad taste out. We finally got the check and funny, were charged for those drinks. Our waitress was very nice and apologized and even offered a free dessert but we just wanted to pay and leave.

A 15 minute drive home and my stomach was turning. A had to jump out of the car and go straight to the bathroom to vomit. I have a pretty tough stomach but this food was too much. My boyfriend felt so bad as this restaurant was his idea. I can't imagine going back to try again but on a positive note, the atmoshere on the water and the sand we did enjoy. I wish I had a better experience to share but...

Horrible customer service this afternoon even after speaking with the manager. This afternoon while we was visiting the Milwaukee downtown for Independence Day, we decided on this restaurant because they had a solid 4 star rating on Google. Plus we was kinda wanted some seafood for lunch, and many other restaurants were doing brunch. It was very easy to navigate to with the use of a GPS device or Google maps. They have plenty of parking and they can accommodate small and large vehicles.

Upon entering we was greeted by a friendly and courteous staff. We noticed that they had indoor and outdoor seating. None of the staff was wearing face masks and gloves at all. This restaurant wasn't following any of the COVID-19 pandemic precautions. So we decided to seat at a high back booth. Upon review of the menu we decided to order their chowder, cheese curds, and to share their $17.00 brisket platter. The chowder was kinda of watered down and there was no seasoning. The cheese curds was hot and crisp. The brisket platter came with 2 sides, which we decided on Mac and cheese and their broccoli. Both the sides were very bland and also wasn't seasoned very well. The brisket platter was $17.00 and the meat was very fatty. We took before and after pictures of the brisket, to show the manager that at least 1/3 of the brisket was fat and inedible. The manager came to our table and apologize. She told me that she took 25% so I felt like she took responsibility.

But when I got my final bill I found out that she took 25% of the $17 platter, which I thought was very tacky and unacceptable. I'm only giving them a 1 star rating, because our waitress was very courtesy and professional. I will definitely not returning and I would definitely NOT recommend them to...

This was our 3rd time doing a boat cruise with river walk boats. In my opinion,  the person manning this boat was anything short of pleasant.  Upon leaving the Twisted Fisherman, he stated there would be music.  By the time we got to Motor HarleyDavidson we did not get one song in at all.  All we heard was advertising...perhaps change the channel? When using the restroom, the floor was soaked and it seemed the toilet was over flowed.  I feel as if this was the first trip of the day, should things be a bit more tidy?

Upon heading to the 2nd stop, we mentioned we would like music to stop 3 and were told we had to play the music.  Is this how it really goes?  We have not had to do that in the past....

Going from stop 2 to 3 the "captain" (if that's what you call him) had a terrible time parking to let us unload.  He must have hit the decks about 4 times....in addition to the people waiting to board having not so nice words while they were boarding.

My concern here is this....for the cost per person (our boats were full from stop one to two and stop two to three).  One drink and app at each stop is a reasonable price to pay for good fun I feel.

This last experience however was not so good.  The apps were not so fresh. Cold fries and think nacho cheese is just not appetizing at Twisted fisherman.... At Motor--Harley Davidson, they had an amazing sloppy Pete sandwich... although too was luke warm and the bread was hard and crunchy and the rum drinks were extremely watered down, and to top it off at stop 3...getting 4 small meatballs or 4 cheese curds as an app--at a pizza place was very disappointing.

We had a party of 12 do this and I feel things could have been a bit better...

This place is made to host big parties. That’s the one thing that I’ll consider coming back for. They have a massive outdoor area with ping pong tables, bags/cornhole, and other games. Plus, they even have shipping containers that you can hang out in. Feels like something you’d see at a Vegas pool club - only it’s the Milwaukee riverfront lol. Who says we can have fun here?? Anyways… Food: mediocre. Over fried shrimp. Probably one of the worst fish fries I’ve had in a while sadly. Fryer oil was likely old for their Friday fish fry. The sides weren’t special either. Drinks: if you’re a rum drinker then you’re in luck! Huge selection of specialty rum cocktails. I prefer tequila. However, I passed on a drink after hearing it was made with a store bought mix. Environment: like said before, great environment for groups! The bar is really nice too. Plus, they have a bunch of booths that are pretty private. Service: it was weird walking in here at 8ish on a Friday. No one greeted us. I had to track someone down to ask if I should seat ourselves. Then, we were forgotten about by the server for 10-15 minutes. BUT she was super sweet and got an appetizer for us on the house. We def appreciated that! I’ll also add, seemed like they had hella staff and they were just doing their own thing and getting drunk. Plenty of mis delivered plates. Kind of seemed like staff had no clue what was going on.
