As an urban dweller nestled in the heart of Minneapolis, Loring Park provides a much-needed refuge from the city's hustle and bustle. Its location, within walking distance of many apartments, makes it highly accessible and a favorite amongst the locals. The park is not only convenient but also aesthetically pleasing, with the iconic bridge connecting it to the Walker Art Institute - a pathway adorned with a myriad of fascinating sculptures, creating a unique blend of art and nature. Loring Park is beautifully maintained with a vibrant display of flowers adding a splash of color to the green landscape. It's an ideal destination for recreational activities with ample open spaces and facilities catering to all age groups and interests. Dog walkers and children will find plenty of room for play and exploration. At the heart of the park lies a charming pond, well-kept and inviting throughout the seasons. Even in the midst of winter, the park's maintenance is commendable, with snow-cleared pathways ensuring accessibility and safety. Parking is a breeze here, a rare luxury in such an urban setting. While the park is not typically crowded, it transforms into a lively hub during summer weekends, hosting a variety of events that draw in residents and tourists alike. As much as I adore Loring Park, it does have room for improvement. The addition of a few more attractions, such as a grand fountain or an interactive outdoor exhibit, could elevate its appeal further. Regardless, Loring Park remains a beloved spot where I find solace during spring, summer, and fall. Its cleanliness, variety of activities, and peaceful ambiance never fail to impress, making it a jewel in the heart of Minneapolis.

Pride.. plenty of music, booths, freebies. Not enough bathrooms or garbages. Other than that a great event. Could use more vegan food or veggies. Also need to have a PAPER MAP with the VENDORS on it. Hard to find people when they are lost or trying to meet up. With so much going on and no map it is almost impossible. Especially for people who are there for the first time. STOP DEPENDING ON THE INTERNET. Vendors had Everything was just scan the box. The service at Loring park is so scattered. There are only tiny patched where your phone will work to call or access anything via internet. Not dependable at all. I was looking for 1st timers for 3hours and couldn't find them due to internet and no map. That is crazy and yes I went to the booth for help they couldn't find them either. The performances were great really enjoy PRIDE this year.

Loring Park in Minneapolis is truly a gem in the heart of the city. Its lush greenery, serene lake, and rich history make it a must-visit for both locals and tourists. I was particularly captivated by the blend of nature and art, with beautiful sculptures and fountains adorning the park. The paths are perfect for a leisurely stroll or a refreshing bike ride. It's evident that this park holds a special place in the city's history, and I'm glad I got to experience its beauty. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat amidst the urban hustle.

We went to an outdoor Opera there, (which was very nice!) Loring Park is a beautiful place. They are in the midst of some construction, but there is a parking deck a couple of blocks away. The only reason I'm not giving 5-stars it's because the port-o-potties has remnants of drug paraphernalia and there were some spooky folks lurking nearby that made my female friend uncomfortable with their stares. I know that this probably happens often in larger cities, but it's always a good idea to travel in a pack, especially at the parks. Be safe out there. 💖

Was really hoping to enjoy an hour or two with my boy, Bear as it's 1st time we have been there. But unfortunately it was way too cold and even though he didn't want to leave and I wanted to spend some time exploring with him, I was freezing and had to get back to the car. Can't wait to go back with him when weather is much nicer.

At the arrival of spring, the ducks and geese fly north for the weather and every spring there is a large flock who call the watershed at this park there home. I feed the ducks, squirrels, geese, pigeons and any other creature that may be hungry. The best part is when they start having their babies and I get to feed them to.
