So much to say about this place. I'll start with the food, it's good, I'm inlove with their steak salad but it is a bit pricey however I think it is worth it. Their drinks are good. It's a fun place at night it turns into a dancing club. I once organized a surprise birthday party of around 15-20 people and it was a success!
But the real reason I'm reviewing is because back in October/November 2016 this happened:
One night I was having dinner with friends, then I moved my purse behind me and raised it on top of the booth where I was sitting. It got crowded infront of us because people were dancing. Then I moved my phone behind my purse.... AND that's when I realized it disappeared into the black hole.
It went down 7 feet. There was no way I could get it back, the booth was attached to the floor and the wall. I went back in there the next morning and then again 3 more times with other coworkers and more equipment trying to get it out. We lost hope. We couldn't even see it at that point.
So I gave up. It was a brand new Google Nexus 6P, worth $500. The Loop said there's nothing they can do because the booths are attached. So they offered $200 so that I can buy a new phone. That was nice that they did that, although I was very disappointed. Later on I knew other people have dropped things in there. So I talked to one of the managers and I requested that they cover that tiny hole. He said it would be unattractive?!!!! I was like what?! R U SERIOUS! No one can see it and that would avoid all the problems. Anwyays... FAST FORWARD the story to July 2017.
They are getting renovated now!! And I contacted them, and they said they found my phone. I went over and they had it, it had no scratch on the screen thank God... a bit too late to get it back but better late then never. So Thank you for not throwing it away, or selling it and giving it back.
Excited to see the...

If you’re looking for a cozy yet lively spot in the North Loop area of Minneapolis, The Loop is the place to be. We visited on a Tuesday night and were greeted with warm, friendly, and attentive service that made us feel right at home.
We ordered mango habanero and buffalo wings, steak tips, tower pizza, and chips with dill dip, and let me tell you—the presentation was amazing, but the taste is what truly won me over. Every bite was fresh and full of flavor, and you could tell the food was made to order. The house-made potato chips were a standout—so thin and crisp, unlike the usual thicker-style chips. Everything just melted in your mouth!
To quench our thirst, we tried the blueberry lemon drop, and shoutout to Laurie and Jordan for recommending it! If you love a sweeter cocktail but still want to feel the buzz, this drink is for you. Just a heads-up—they do creep up on you throughout the night, so drink responsibly!
The atmosphere was relaxed since it wasn’t too busy, and we had no problem walking in without a reservation. Prices were fair, and splitting between two people, we each spent about $40—a great deal considering the amount and quality of food we got.
I’d highly recommend The Loop to anyone looking for a great meal and drinks in a fun setting. Just keep in mind that it is a bar, so it may not be ideal for younger kids. But whether you’re out with friends, coworkers, or just looking for a casual night out, this spot delivers every time!
Thank you to Laurie, Jordan , Matt, and Olivia for an...
Read moreFood is amazing and so was our primary waitress. The two star rating was due to lack of honesty and the rude bar back, or whatever his position is. I called several days prior to coming to ask for a reservation and I was denied, stating that there was no such thing on game days due to the craziness of the environment. I was totally understanding with this due to my own history in the service industry. We arrived and a 10 top behind our tables was marked off as reserved. Next, there was a coworker who was what I thought on his phone. I politely asked if he could take our group photo and he rudely stated no. Following I approached him asking if he could change the tv by our table and again with an agitated tone stated “I have to change them in this whole bar, just give me a second!”
All in all, one can spoil the whole bunch and it’s really unfortunate that someone with as agitated and poor of attitude can approach and communicate with customers like this. As I noted, I’ve worked in the industry for far too long and know that regardless, it is never appropriate to speak to a sober, paying, and kind customer in the tone I was spoken to...
