My husband and I went to Target in Mission,Kansas tonight, The date is 08-17-2021. We both have severe medical issues so we usually use the motorized shopping carts so we are able to sit down due to our medical conditions. Well We each got in a cart and did all of our shopping and went to the self check out and I needed something taken off of our self check out because I seen the price of the item and did not want to pay that price for it so I called the employee in self check out over to us and asked him if he would please take the item off for me, He took the item off and leaned down to me and my husband and said these exact words "I wanted to tell you something, There are guests that actually need those carts, "You guys look like perfectly healthy adults". "I don't see a cast or anything" "Why exactly are you guys in those"? I said um just because you can't see something physically wrong with us does not mean there isnt anything wrong with us. His name was Jayson. I walked off after I paid, I seen a security guy walking around so I approached him and told him what happened and he said "Well is there anything wrong with you"? "I don't see anything either". I am not sure of his name but he was pretty young, tall and skinny and had short blondish brown hair, Very Cocky, Clearly thought he was someone special for being security at Target. Lol. Never will I ever go back to a Target or give them business. I contacted the BBB and I am also speaking with a lawyer regarding this matter. Plain Pathetic that Target would have an employee that talks to guests this way and questions them and also accuses someone of not having anything wrong with them and questioning their right to be in a motorized cart. All I can say is I thought Target was a good place, But if they hire disgusting people like these folks, They are far from good and I will be happy to take my money elsewhere and they can keep their horrible employees and their...

Kitchen items are bizarrely across the store from bathroom items separated by sporting goods?! Items in disarray and not well stocked, like a storm of locusts had just come through. Also, TONS of baby items prominently displayed everywhere in multiple areas of the store. I thought this was Halloween season, not birthing season? One star because itās a Target. Also, womenās bathroom was a disaster. Every stall was filthy. Wish this store was better managedā¦ā¦ā¦
New comment, 4 months later: Grateful that this store exists here, but I'm coming back to leave a second bad review. This store is again understocked. Just shopping online for pickup, basic grocery store items are listed as "no longer sold at this store" such as Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, butter snap pretzels from Snyders, Mega Charmin rolls (only Mega XL and XXL). WHO is in charge of management for this store? It's honestly TERRIBLE! The kitchen supplies are literally on the OTHER SIDE of the store from groceries. If I am buying groceries but also need to grab a quick new food storage container, I have to spend almost 5 extra minutes walking across the store to find it. I get it if items are low on stock, but to now not even stock them, when other Targets are, but are miles away from me? Also, a personal gripe, the driving lot is so poorly organized, everyone always looks extremely stressed when entering or leaving. The spaces are unusually far away from the doors. Target, I've never seen a store this poorly run. Grr! It could be so...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI bought a purse for my girlfriend at Target in Mission. She liked it, put her stuff in it, carried it around with her for 2 or 3 days, then discovered the design of the purse was unacceptable. I took it back to Target and was told merchandise must be in LIKE NEW condition for a refund. Which raises the question: how do you know the design of any piece of merchandise is unacceptable for use unless you use the item, and find it unacceptable?
I shop at Costco a lot, and on the rare instance I have had to return an item, they cheerfully refund my money. I have purchased a tool at Costco, USED the tool to do some work, found the design of the tool to be unacceptable, and returned an obviously used tool-- they gave me a refund, no questions asked.
I called Wal-Mart and spoke with a manager about their return policy; Wal-Mart's policy is like Costco's, not like stingy Target's. I asked the Wal-Mart manager: "So, even if the purse had been used, you would take it back?" Yes, of course, as long as it was within 90 days. "But it no longer looks new-- you cannot put it back on the shelves and re-sell it. You will still take it back?" Yes, of course.
It's called customer service.
It's called putting your customers first.
I am done with Target. Their return policy is unbelievably cheap and petty. It feels like GOTCHA!! "Ha ha, sucker, we got your money, and you ain't getting it back!"
They got my $30. But they are not getting...
