I had a group of 12 friends meeting up for breakfast Saturday morning. I arrived about 20 minutes prior to the time our group had planned to get there to be sure to get on the list so we would not have to wait long once everyone arrived. I tried doing the get in line option on Google Maps, but it kept saying there was no wait, so it would not give me the option. Parking was a little challenging to find open spots. As soon as I got there, my husband and I spoke with the hostess and were placed on the list and were told to let them know when our party was all there. Meanwhile, other people came and were seated. There was another family who was there before us waiting for a couple more people. They were seated before all of our group arrived. Once our party was all present, we went to the host stand to let them know we were all present to only find out one of the hosts removed us from the list. So then we had to wait 15 minutes for them to get tables figured out. They didn't apologize. That was not an encouraging start to our breakfast. When we were finally seated, TT was our server. She did a good job trying to keep up with all of the tables in her section, but the kitchen kept running out of coffee carafe that we could not have coffee for everyone that ordered coffee. TT was very nice and did well with what she was given. She was personable. The food came out so that half of the table got their food and the other half got their food when the first half was almost done. I prefer this over cold food, but im sure they can figure out how to get all the food done closer to the same time. The food was good and hot. I probably won't return to this location until they have some time to figure out...
Read moreTried for the 1st time. This was the one in Mission. All together I was very disappointed. It was not busy, but we waited at the door for awhile and didn't see any staff. Once we were seated the waitress brought coffee to our table in a "keep hot" pot and it was warm ( if that ) to add to it, there wasn't even enough to fill one cup. We searched for our waitress for a good 5 minutes, had to catch another waitress to get more. Then the creamer was expired May 24. Curdled in my coffee. The waitress argued with me about it then brought new and it was expired as well. I asked for a little bit of milk (never got it) therefore I didn't have any coffee but was charged for it. There might have been 4 tables and we waited a good 20 minutes for our food. To make matters worse, my bisquits under my gravy were dry and crumbled when I "tried" to eat them. I normally, in the past, liked the food and the service. That was years ago at the location in Independence, Mo. If I had to rate food, service and management it would be a "negative " ---0 or worse. This was even a new location. Bad experience all the way around. I don't know it was just a bad day or if this is normal for this location. Will I ever go back to this location ? Not Even If It Is Free!! I hope for their sake they get better before they get shut down. Very disappointed...
Read moreOne more resturant on the way to destroying itself with terrible mangment. Instead of listening to customers, they ask them to leave. Hazelnut coffee creamer can be found everywhere, even at the the gas station. Not here, only blue or white. I asked the staff how many different ways they cook eggs. After consulting with each other they offered my choices. I asked, then why i only have only two choiced of coffee creamer, blue or white? They could not answer and sugested to get online to get answers. While having my breakfast, a senior manager rudely interrupted me to tell me they never carried hazelnut creamer in any of their resturants which is not true. It's true, they suddenly removed all but two coffee creamers from their resturants now but it wasn't always that way. He offered to bet me to prove his point but refused to take a bet when challenged. Embarrased in front of his staff, he asked me to leave halfway through my breakfast. I went to The Village across the street for better food, service, and price, and great staff and customer service where customers have real choices by taste, not color. They also have my favorite hazelnut creamer, not just blue and white. Bad managment destroyed more...
