Planet Sub — Restaurant in Mission

We live just up the street and order from here every other week. I have to be honest I'm really upset. I called in an order on my way home from work. I stated twice that I wanted the tuna bacon melt on gluten free bread. The kid, Noah, answering the phone apparently didn't key it in correctly. I get home, I'm two bites into my sandwich and I notice the bread is different. I give the shop a call back, same kid, I explain the mix up and how it was dangerous. He keeps stating that they had not gotten any gluten free orders. He eventually asks for my name and says there must be a mix up with the order and they're sorry. I get that the kid apologized, but honestly, he just kept insinuating that I had forgotten to say gluten free. I can not think of one person with a gluten sensitivity or celiac disease who would forget to say they wanted a gluten free sandwich. I know I ordered it correctly and that he must not have heard. Luckily I wasn't very far into the sandwich and hopefully I won't get very sick, but this kid could have really gotten someone ill. Please Planet Sub, train your workers better on this. You're the only sandwich shop that offers gluten free bread, for people just trying to live a normal life and get a sandwich to go -...

Not as big of a fan of toasted subs when it's 100 degrees and humid outside and YET I still end up here about once a week. Tons of different subs and you should be able to find something you like. I'm older now so occasionally deli meat gives me problems, but the meatball, tuna or veggie subs are terrific! Soups are not freshly made, but their potato soup is excellent. Parking is slightly limited and can be a pain every once in a while. It's usually crowded because they have terrific specials if you sign up for their P-Sub Club through your email. I highly recommend you do because they ONLY mail you announcements about specials. You'll get two emails per special and they occur probably once every two weeks and on some holidays. Trust me, you will not feel spammed and when you can get a "Buy half a sub and get one half-sub for free, or for a $1, you and your co-worker can both eat for about $10 and get full. I was inside the store around noon today Sunday April 6th and there was a girl and a guy working the girl was really nice but while I was waiting to be helped the guy in the store was really loudly complaining about his manager using every swear word under the sun to do so while the store filled up with customers that weren’t being helped

I’m a big fan of swearing and I get the need to let off steam but I don’t think he realizes literally the entire store was eavesdropping on him talking crap on his managers and his job it was very awkward, uncouth , and unprofessional I hope he finds a job that he gets more enjoyment or...
