It was a genuine pleasure to walk into this new, beautifully appointed location. Fully stocked shelves of organized products, clear markings on which brands lived where. A young lady at the register greeting everyone. All would make for a pleasant shopping experience.
I came in today after feeling discriminated against at the Pearland location. As a tall, overweight man, I know I am not a standard Ulta customer, but where they ignored me for forty minutes, this location was quick to help out. The aforementioned cashier gave me some quick tips on skin care, but called in an expert by the name of Gabi.
Gabi introduced herself as an expert esthetician, and began interviewing me on my skin care routine, likes and dislikes, sensitivities, etc. We discussed what makes more expensive products worth it or not, and the chemical reactions different ingredients have with each other. I felt educated as well as served. Together we chose about seven different products for a full day and a full night routine. I never felt pushed into anything or sold a more-expensive item just to make more money. We got a mix of budget and luxury.

Whitlee (spelled W-H-I-T-L-E-E) is an absolute gem! She spent nearly two hours with me, patiently walking me through all the foundation options, skincare considerations, and educating me on why certain products would or wouldn't work for my specific needs. Her energy was infectious â warm, uplifting, and full of genuine passion for what she does.
What stood out the most was her attentiveness, knowledge, and kindness. She made me feel completely comfortable, never rushed, and treated my questions with so much care and insight. I learned about my undertones, how to care for my dry skin, and what to avoid when applying makeup â all thanks to her.
She truly has a beautiful spirit and it shows in how she interacts with customers. Even if makeup isnât your world, Whitlee will make you feel like you belong there. Her love for beauty is matched by her desire to help others feel confident in their own skin.

   Read moreI am disappointed with my recent salon visit. The stylist, Pamela, wasn't who I booked with online but it wasnt a big deal since it was my first time at this location. I asked for bangs and a rod set. Unfortunately my bangs were cut wayyy too short. I specifically mentioned that if she were cutting my hair before washing it while it was straight, to cut it longer since I usually wear it curly. That request wasnât followed. She parted it, twisted it, and straight across cut it and that was it. Now my bangs donât work well with my natural hair at all! The roller set actually came out decent but I was so upset about my bangs that I wanted to just leave to wash and style my hair at home. She told me she wanted to fix it since I was there, so we agreed on her washing it again and just defining my curls. The other stylist told her that my hair needed to be soaking wet when she put the product in but she didnt listen to that either.
