Normally I dont write reviews but this was important and need a 1/2 star. Try to avoid this store if they have to connect to your account in any way and the games they play. I purchased two samsung phones and two phone cases.
Part One (Phones) I was charge 30.00 automatic set up fee to transfer data using samsung switch app which I could have done myself and 40.00 activation per line. All seem normal except Verizon had no record of any of this information nor me trading in my phone. I came back the same day for my phone and Amazingly fedex had pick it up but Verizon still dont have a record. Im now working with Verizon showing I paid off my phone and upgraded because "yourwireless" just add phones to the line incorrectly causing me to pay double.
Part Two (Cases) paid 49.99 per case and within me walking from store to vehicle the bottom of the case pops off. I immedately walk back into the store to ask for a refund and was told we dont give refunds just store credits. I said well I can go to best buy and just buy an outter box. Farina stated we can order you an otter for both phones as an even exchange. Of course that was a lie and after 7 days she email me instead of calling saying the outter box arrived and once in the store with attitude just told the guy its 79.99 per case and I must pay the difference. WOW but not surprised so I had no choice but to accept the one case at this cost and I found something cheap in the store to eat up my last few dollars of store credit because I refuse to ever come back.
Needless to say I went on Verizon.com and found that 79.99 outter box for 45.99 regular price. Avoid this place and if you made a purchase make sure you get a receipt because you will need it when you see your Verizon bill. Of course I was told the printer dont work so I didnt get a receipt for paying off my phone and she finally email me the other receipt that had all the crazy charges. By the way that 30.00 charge for automatic set up fee was label "Iphone 5 charger" and I asked why. Farina stated they label it this way so she can give me a discount-- REALLY what discount?
Interestingly enough--- at the bottom of my receipt (see attachment) it stated they Gladly accept returns or exchanges-- fraud. I received my bought lesson for 2020 and will...
Read moreIn attempting to upgrade my daughter's phone online as well as speaking with two representatives who were very kind, I was advised the final transaction would have to be done in-person. Since my daughter and I will be together on Sunday, I wanted to make sure a Verizon store had the phone before wasting time.
I called this location and was greeted by a lady (I didn't get her name). I don't know if she was busy with a client or not, but I could tell she didn't care one bit about what I was calling about. I asked her if they had the iPhone 16 Pro Max. She replied that she would have to check, and she would call me back in 30 minutes. Hurriedly, she asked me my name, I told her, and she said she'd call back.
Being that it's two hours now, I decided to call a Verizon store a few miles down the road. They were very helpful, and they confirmed they had exactly what we needed. Planning on resolving this upgrade on Sunday.
Sadly, I have not received a return phone call from this store and quite frankly, I hope I don't. The tone of the representative was a huge turnoff from the minute she answered. And of course, saying she was going to do something (call me back within 30 minutes) and failing to do it is a huge turnoff too. One thing I do know - I will never be going into this Verizon location ever.
What happened with people actually following through on what they say they'd do? For this lady, she obviously doesn't believe in accountability, and it's obvious, her word means absolutely nothing. Hopefully she's on the chopping block , or perhaps she's working for free. Who knows? Absolutely terrible customer service!
Verizon: you need to pick up your game. With service like this, people will take their...
Read moreI have an issue with my iPhone (which doesn't even power up), so requested Verizon Representative to switch my sim card from my iPhone to an AT&T UNLOCKED Samsung Galaxy S6 phone.
Several issues with the rep: He doesn't know that S6 & iPhone 6 uses the same Nano SIM He wants to charge me $29.99 to give me a new Nano SIM that will work with S6 (as per him, iPhone Nano SIM doesn't work for Android Phones (Interesting to hear this) I asked him to try inserting the same iPhone Nano SIM into Samsung Galaxy S6 and try it out, he tried it and the SIM was recognized successfully He tried activating the S6 phone to work with that SIM, and mentioned that the phone is not compatible, I clearly explained him that iPhone 6 or above, S6 or above which are unlocked from AT&T or any other service provider (except Sprint) are compatible to work for Verizon He tried providing the device id and he mentioned that it says, phone is not compatible to work with Verizon. He says that the doesn't have a reason and it could be that the phone is not Unlocked to work for Verizon only (might work with other providers). Really? Rep thinks that there are multiple kinds of unlocks per provider?
I wish the rep's in the store know what they're talking which will be helpful to address the customer issues. This is not the kind of customer service, we would expect. If the Rep doesn't know what he is talking, he should have a way to talk to experts and help the customers. Rather than saying, I am the expert and I know what I am talking. I will never head to this store again. It could just be 1 person though, might not be other reps. But, this is my experience with the store rep...
