To understand the incompetence I witnessed in a span of 3 hours I must set the scene properly. My roommates car battery would not jump so we went in to get it tested. Out of the 4 people in the store (1 of those being the manager) the guy with a pickle Rick (a kids cartoon show) hat was the only one who could test the battery. It required a charge in order to test it, so I (a complete car novice) asked what a charge would do opposed to a jump. The first words out of “pickle ricks” mouth were “uhhhhhh words”. I am not paraphrasing. We then leave to wait for it to charge, come back and “pickle rick” is helping another customer so my roommate and I are standing there for 5 minutes just for “pickle rick” to tell us it’s a bad battery. Could he not have one of the other employees help the other customer while he helps us?? We then want to pay with card over the phone to get a new battery, which is not allowed, so we leave once again. We later find out that curbside pickup is an option so we do that. Could the 3 employees not have suggested that when we were in the store??? I wonder if they are hiring, because it sure seems like they...
Read moreI’m telling you right now these guys are amazing, we were almost stranded on our way through this town, the local garage 30 miles back said it would be $1000 or more to get us fixed up but they couldn’t help until Tuesday and here it was Friday. We rolled into this Oreilly auto parts and the manager Jeff was there and his apprentice were there to our rescue, I’m a bit mechanically inclined but didn’t have Ann the tools and supplies to do the job, they got us all the parts we needed, decided to do a thorough job and replace a bit more than what was broke because it was worth it working on this 2005, these guys were right there willing to do what they could to get us back on the road, it was amazing, their boos stopped in too and he was another one of them, couldn’t have been happier with the service. Took me a little over 3 hrs to get this done in their parking lot! Jeff stayed late to make sure we had everything we needed to get us onward, Thank you guys! Talk about hospitality, love it! Now we’re ….. on the...
Read moreWe were driving across South Dakota on July 4th and the A/C stopped in our van. We called ahead to the Mitchell store and I spoke with Derek. He knew the Freon kit we needed and had it ready when we arrived. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. It ended up being our compressor. He reached out to a few people trying to get it fixed, he showed us everything he had in stock for parts and priced everything out. Unfortunately there wasn’t anyone free being a holiday. We were so impressed with his help...
