I've bought thousands of dollars of solid 14k gold jewelry from TJMaxx never had any doubts. I love their suite of stores and always trusted them. However this purchase and this particular store incident and selling of makes me wary now. I am into the 4 leaf clover gold pieces especially, solid gold fine jewelry only. I only like solid gold from the solid gold section and always go there right away to check inventory. Anyway, I bought this piece 9 months ago from the solid gold section locked display which was priced with a 14k solid gold price. I never had any doubts until I ran into an identical item at the Glendale store this week. I talked to the sales woman at Glendale since I became suspect since it was in the gold over silver section and asked her did they ever sell that necklace by Rachel Zoe and in solid gold. And she mentioned never seeing it and that she had worked there for some time. She mentioned that this particular brand sells mostly gold over silver not solid gold and had asked me how much I was charged. I told her $159.99 or $129.99 solid gold price which made me very scared and also her concerned for me. The identical item at the Glendale store was marked as no-solid gold at $59.99. She said that they are careful in Glendale and that the tag could have been switched and thus incorrectly marked and that I should go home and check the tiny stamp in the necklace which I needed a microscope to read. I rushed home hoping I was wrong about my fears and suspicions but sadly, long and behold it was true, I was DUPED by TJMaxx Monrovia and sold a non-solid gold item as solid gold... a FAKE, COUNTERFEIT, and overcharged. I would have never bought a fake or questioned my purchase until I saw it at Glendale.I immediately called the Monrovia store who put me through to the manager twice. I explained the situation and told him I didn't have the receipt but only the approximate time of purchase and the amount. He said they couldn't do anything... um for selling me fake, counterfeit gold at solid gold prices? I don't buy non gold pieces. I was duped and sold fake non solid gold. I looked through my credit card statements and found the credit card and date I purchased it, I called back to mention that if they could just look into their records. All stores keep records. He dismissed me without care saying that it was distribution that priced it. But someone could have changed the tags and put it in the solid gold section. I was duped and sold counterfeit fake gold. I am down about $159 plus tax now. Don't let them trick you and sell you fake gold!!!! Don't buy gol from them unless you bring a microscope to check your purchase. They don't stand by their products and jewelry sales practices seriously, just dismissing me because they don't want to look into their records to do further investigation. I paid for 100% solid gold but I was had. They sell FAKE products just like they sell recalled baby products and...

Subject: Disappointing Christmas Shopping Experience

Dear TJ Maxx Customer Service Team,

I am writing to share a disappointing experience I had during my recent Christmas shopping trip at your store. The issue occurred during checkout, where the associate assisting me displayed a rude and unprofessional attitude. While scanning my items, she suddenly stopped without saying a word. Curious about why she wasn’t continuing, I asked, “Why aren’t you scanning the items?” She replied that she thought I was checking the products, so she stopped without communicating anything. In fact, I was merely checking the size of a pair of slippers while waiting for her to scan the items. She could have easily asked me if I needed help, but instead, she chose to remain silent and then offered a flimsy excuse. Her behavior struck me as odd and confrontational. Later, I asked whether a discount could be applied to an item with damaged packaging. She checked with her manager, and the answer was no, which I accepted without issue. However, at that moment, she seemed to forget whether she had already scanned the item and started checking her computer. I kindly reminded her, saying, “This item has already been scanned. You can see it on the screen.” Her response shocked me. She snapped back angrily, saying, “I know, I’m just double-checking,” with an attitude like a child caught doing something wrong, trying to cover it up with defensiveness. Startled by her reaction, I calmly explained that I was only trying to help and didn’t mean to argue. She immediately retorted, “I’m just checking, and I don’t want to argue with you either,” her tone and glare full of hostility.

TJ Maxx has always been a beloved store for me and my family, like an old friend. However, I must say that today’s unpleasant shopping experience was the worst I’ve ever had at TJ Maxx. I hope I’ve described the situation clearly. This unprofessional, unfriendly, and aggressive associate has seriously dampened my Christmas spirit as a loyal customer.

What a great store in a great location.

T.J Max is a one stop shop, and this one is no different. This store offers everything from indoor home to outdoors supplies, games, clothing, gifts, gift wrap, electronics and so much more. The best part of this store is that they carry some great name brands and non name brands at very inexpensive prices, I am always excited for a great deals. Employees were fully staffed and very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable of where items were. All shelf's and products were fully stocked and in great condition. Parking here is a breeze, huge parking lot!

This plaza is being fully redeveloped with a few new stores and great ones at that, just in time for those holiday shopping days.

What a Great Grand Opening! Welcoming Costumers with Free Reusable Bags.

No worrying here about driving around and hoping to get a spot, Home Goods is Located in a huge plaza with tons of parking. Walking in to the store everything is very neat and organized, shelf's and racks are fully stocked and labeled accordingly. Employees are fully staffed, were very helpful, and friendly. Keep up the good work and let's keep this store in high standards. I will definitely be returning and updating this review in the near future.
