Update: 06/06/22 My experience at Chopt has not improved. I think that the food tastes great, but the portions keep getting smaller and there’s usually a mistake or two in my order- it’s pretty frustrating because I do drive almost 20 minutes to get here.
Original: I was thrilled to find a chopt was coming nearby, I enjoy having access to fresh & healthy ingredients. The food is AWESOME. Seriously. I don’t enjoy the in-store experience, although I do prefer ordering in store because the to-go order have come with less food/product. What stinks is that it’s hard to make a custom salad that doesn’t exceed the price of the pre-made ones even if you are using LESS ingredients. I was in store once where someone made a salad with bacon and feta and little else and it was upwards of $15 and they pointed out how the Chopt Cobb has way more ingredients but was several dollars less… something to think about when ordering. A few times “premium” ingredients have been missing from my salad. Overall, I love having a chopt closer to me and will still...
Read moreEasily the worst service I’ve ever had at a Chopt. This branch should be embarrassed over the poor quality of service. I’m not being hyperbolic when I say I think everyone working at this location was high on the job. Or brain dead. Or both. My wife and I ordered two Santa Fe salads and the guy sauntered through making it, and kept messing up the order by adding all of the wrong mix ins. He messed up the salads at least 4 times even with me even coaching him through the process. Even when he got the salad right he messed the whole thing up with the wrong dressing twice and had to do it all over again. Cue further mistakes.
After about 20 min of trial and error, our final salads STILL weren’t right, using breaded chicken instead of grilled which is what we asked for explicitly. Whatever.
What a complete joke. If you have your heart set on Chopt definitely don’t go here, go to the one in...
Read moreCame here because the line for Chick-fil-A was too long. Ordered 4 salads each one was 15 dollars so a family of 4 had lunch for 100 dollars. The salads are in a tall not wide container making them a little harder to eat. The staff was fast and efficient with mixing the ingredients in a large bowl. They have multiple choices for greens and vegetables to add to salads like a sandwich shop and you can point to the options. A fair warning the ranch chicken salad has chilies spices in the ingredients. There was no warning and my kid did not eat more than 1/4 of the salad. Most restaurants put an indicator like a star or Chile symbol. I ended up taking it for lunch. The consistency of the chicken is a little off, like too soft to be cooked how one would expect, like...
