Read moreMoments ago, I took the girls I nanny to the Mount Pleasant Mall to go look at all of the beautiful decor items for a rainy day activity. All of my girls are respectful young ladies, who are aware of the value of items in a store and are able to treat things with respect. My girls were having a respectful time, even connecting with other customers as shopping here has always been such a joyful and fun experience, especially for little girls who feel beautiful trying on the various accessories. While supervising the girls very close by might I add, I made sure that every item they picked up, they put right back where they found it. As they were having a wonderful time, one of the store associates came up and asked the girls to stop touching any items in the store unless they were buying them in a very ugly tone. A huge part about going to a store this large is touching, feeling, and looking at all of these items with the expectation that not EVERY single item you touch, will be purchased. I also want to add that every single item the girls touched was less than $30. I obviously kept the girls out of the areas with items that were fragile, and items that were higher priced items. The manager continued to basically yell at my girls and went further as insulting all of their mothers who were not even present. I communicated with the lady that my girls had not damaged, or gotten even close to damaging any items and were simply having a lovely time in a very respectful manner. This lady was clearly an extremely unhappy individual who was displeased in seeing little girls having a wonderful time on a rainy day. I communicated to the store associate that I would be leaving a bad review so customers are aware of the fact that she was very disrespectful to not only myself but the girls I am caring for. I am extremely upset with the way she spoke to us and this experience has made me never want to come back. I definitely will be sharing my experience beyond just this review. I am very...
Read moreMy friend and I had a horrible experience with the front staff shopping here. My friend saw a set of lamps that she liked for $275 but they looked familiar a few days later she realized why. The exact same ones were for sale at Target for $60. They were bought and marked up we Assumed they were unaware that they had a seller buying from local stores marking up the prices to dupe local shoppers. So we asked to speak with a manager to inform them of their vendor. She was INCREDIBLY rude to us. She told us we couldn’t speak to the manager and that they were allowed to buy things where they wanted and mark them up. I jumped in and told the women my friend asked me if we should even mention it to them and I said yes because I used to shop at southern accents and when they caught a women doing it there, she was no longer allowed to sell with them anymore. They usually appreciate people looking out for the integrity of their business. When my friend mentioned people come here to find one of a kind looks the woman said we could shop somewhere else then. She then continued to talk badly about us after we walked away while we were still in ear shot to customers checking out behind us! Telling them she “doesn’t know why we would care” we kept moving to not bother hearing the rest. Then we were down an aisle and saw her pointing to us with 2 other women who worked there they were staring us down taking and laughing at us. How immature and sad that these woman were so nasty to loyal customers….or ANY human being for that matter. I will never shop here again. Not even because of the target lamp scam, but because of how incredibly rude and awful the woman working there was to us.I dont care who you are or what you think, being respectful to people is a must in business...
