We stayed at the Inn for our honeymoon. I really researched lots of places before picking this one. So needless to say I was disappointed in our experience. The positives were the bell staff and restaurant staff were truly so kind and helpful. They made it as pleasant as it could be given the circumstances. I had asked for a room with a pretty view upon booking and was told the front desk staff would be sure to put us in one as we are from out of town. After traveling and driving all day to get there.. We were put in a room facing all buildings. I politely asked to be in the room I requested. After being asked to pay $75 for an upgrade.. They reluctantly upgraded us to a suite. The manager made sure to let me know she couldn't put us in a condo because the hotel would "lose money." Which had absolutely nothing to do with me. Seemed to be an error of the booking agent. I had to request flowers on the bed myself. Nothing was recommended by the hotel for a honeymoon. No congratulations from the front desk. I had requested for chocolate strawberries to be delivered to our room. Never came. When I asked that evening when they were coming... They let me know that they had "forgot". We had a hottub reserved for weeks in advance to have a romantic evening and were put in warm one in the dark. It was so cold we were shivering. They moved us to a different one but only after someone's reservation had finished. And apologized and said.. We will have maintance check it out. We are really not picky people. Just wanted a really romantic evening and to feel special. They had no remorse nor take much initiative to make us feel special. The next morning when I expressed my concerns to the front desk.. She just said "oh.. Here's your bill." We appreciate the upgraded room but I did request it from the beginning. We are very disappointed and quite sad. Hopefully the next guests will be taken...

The staff demonstrated outstanding customer service, not only being well-trained but also going the extra mile to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A notable feature was the inn's super dog-friendly environment, ensuring our furry family members felt just as welcome. The valet and concierge services were impressively knowledgeable, providing valuable insights and assistance throughout our stay.
The breakfast buffet surpassed expectations, providing a delightful start to our mornings. What set this experience apart was the personal touch—each staff member remembered the names of every individual in my family, making us feel truly valued.

Read moreMy stay at the Inn at Lost Creek was fantastic. It is a luxury ski in/ski out hotel in MidMoutain Village. I had the opportunity to use the fitness center and spa associated with the sister property The Peaks everyday. It is just a 5 min walk away and an amazing facility with an indoor lap pool. The fitness classes offered were wonderful. I particularly liked the yoga with Rhea and had a massage with Angie.
But what was truly best about my stay was meeting the staff at these places. Sam was at the ski valet each day and had everything waiting for me and helped me utilize the Telluride app to track my skiing. He was always smiling. Ryan came and picked me up from market village after my grocery shopping trip and helped carry the bags to my room. By chance, one night a little smoke got out of the kitchen and set the fire alarm off but Ryan quickly shut it off and Alex sent a text to all the guests explaining what had happened and that everything was fine.
I hope to return to Telluride next year and I know EXACTLY where I will stay. My room was perfect for me. A 400 sqft studio with absolutely everything I needed. I wonderful bed, a kitchenette, washer and dryer and iron. And Camica kept it so clean. I rented my gear from Christy sports right below the hotel and took advantage of the 20% discount as a hotel guest. The staff there was very helpful too. They waxed and edged the skis for me.
Truly, the coziest, friendliest, most perfectly positioned and equipped spot on the mountain. Thank you all for a...
