VENUE DID SUCK, IT WAS BEAUTIFUL AT ONE TIME BUT...clearly needed to be paid attention to...the sound was not perfect...luckily fr ticket holders, the bands were perfect...oh not thee band perfect, Mini Mansions opened for ROYAL BLOOD whom did an astonishing job in a small place, thats affected by the no age limit and no bar. Bands were great....Management had no idea or they wanted to add a stop between two locations and the guys were good soldiers and played...but this is not a venue I would ever ask them to tolerate again...Esp because it is a very odd city to a person from a metropolitan area... Thank God the musicians played like it was the recording...so the people tat never heard them adore them now....I had a debate w a fool in the audience, telling me that RB was going to do great songs after touring with Dave growl, so we spent 30 minutes talking the diff in chord progressions and the way the percussive mind od Grohl works as opposed to Mikes riff thinking and I said Dave will learn from THEM...he relented and white flagging it he a went! And I love both bands, i think its Rb turn and I think Dave loves them as much , well, almost as...
Read moreBought tickets to support an actor friend for the 16th...WKKL! A medical issue came up, and I needed to exchange tickets for another night. No response to Mutiple messages and emails and then I finally got through to office to plead my case....she asked me if I could read...the policy is very clear...NO EXCHANGES. She was just..."tough luck". There are tons of seats and there is no excuse to not TRY to help! In a way, I hope this group fails, so a real theater company, rather than a government bureaucracy can give life to this theater. So disappointed to not get to see this show and support the arts. But...they got my money, so maybe that is their game. No one wants to buy these tickets, so they will just be more empty seats...
Read moreToday was the grand opening, and my partner and I stopped by hoping to learn more about upcoming events. We live in the neighborhood and genuinely wanted to support the project. There were six staff members at the front desk, yet none of them turned to greet us or invited us in.
If that’s the level of engagement on opening day, it really makes you wonder. It’s a shame, because the concept seemed promising. It would be nice if the time and professionalism of those who show up with genuine interest...
