Beach Rider Jet Boat — Attraction in Myrtle Beach

We ride this every year many times a year. This time the driver kinda lost control and I got slung into side of boat and almost out of boat, the guy behind us grabbed me with both hands and kept me in boat. I got hurt really bad and asked the cashier for an accident form which he said they do not have any. I ended up at urgent care with cracked ribs and cracked bones in my chest wall. I was told that I will be in serve pain for awhile and that this could take months to heal so now I am out of money for medical bills, prescription meds for pain, and meds to get some of the inflammation out of my chest wall we rode this on August 23rd. This was a different captain than we usually have as well. I have lost wages from work due to being in so much pain and having to take so many medications for this injury. Our JetBoat experience was incredibly fun and memorable! The ride alternated between fast and slow, creating an exciting adventure for our family. I highly recommend going at sunset—the view of the boats and lights around the boardwalk adds to the experience. As you’re laughing and screaming, the beautiful scenery masks you drool from the excitement.

The ride was affordable and budget-friendly for the family. It takes you back and forth across the boardwalk, providing a personal tour of the area and allowing you to see various shops. The driver was skilled, and I appreciated the added safety of wearing life jackets, especially when traveling with children or weaker swimmers.

As a family on vacation many times at Myrtle Beach in the past, we had been on these jet boats when they first opened for business. We had an awesome time in the beginning of this attraction. I would have left 5 stars, if it was still operating the same way, however this time was a shocker! The ride was absolutely shortened on us. What a disappointment with the money that was paid and just a rip-off..., but to top things off, the life jackets were in desperate need of replacing with the rancid body odor all over them.
