very clean establishment, with relatively speedy service sfar as getting your order out goes. the young blonde fellow busing tables very obviously didnt speak much english, if any at all - my dad tried asking him for a couple to-go boxes on out wau out and he said a few things in his native tongue, and shrugged his shoulders, so i had to go request them from the guy running register. the guy at the register, however, was an absolutely pleasant fellow. my dad ordered coffee, and since it was late in the afternoon the guy was worried about the freshness of it and earnestly insisted if it wasnt up to par that he would gladly make more just for him. ((he even came to our table once we settled into the booth to ask if it was alright or not.)) i myself decided to upgrade my drink that comes with the meal to a smoothie ((after hed already rung us up of course)), but he not only didnt get annoyed with me as one would expect - he undercharged me by 2$ somehow even!.. and when i requested light sauce on my gyro, he suggested putting it in a condiment cup on the side so i could use my own discretion ((which tickles my fancy personally, im an incredibly picky eater)). besides the speedy service and friendly and attentive service from the guy up front - my gyro was on friggin point, as was the mango smoothie ((really tho that gyro was perfect)). 10/10 if you only speak english and dont need anything from...
Read moreWe went to Southern Grill on Saturday April 13th for an early dinner. When we first walked in to order my husband wanted chicken wings, the guy said sorry no chicken today. Umm okay. So then we ordered the rest. And when asked what we wanted to drink he said sorry the machines are broken so we had to get bottled drinks… no biggie but still. Mind you for two kid meals and a gyro meal and a hamburger meal it was $55. Food comes out, my burger was small and barely any fries (def not $14 worth,) my husband ordered the Gyro. The sauce tasted like water. Had absolutely no flavor. Oh well he was still going to eat it for that price. My 8 year old daughter ordered the fried ravioli…she ate one. Got to the second one and there was a long hair in it. Well that ruined all of our meals seeing that. So I walk up and show them and he goes ooooh. And says do you want money. ??? I said yeah that would be nice since we can’t eat it because of the hair. He hands me $10. Nothing else. I don’t ever like complaining or leaving bad reviews at all. But for the amount of money we spent and how bad the food was and then the fried in hair. We were severely disappointed. I should have gotten all of the money back since we couldn’t eat it but my kids were ready to go find something to eat somewhere else. Very disappointed in the customer...
Read moreSo the gentleman who took our order was super nice. That's the nicest thing I can say.... the grilled cheese bread was tough and cheese wasn't melted... the fried mushrooms were cold... mozzie sticks had NO cheese pull and the marinara was a little sauce packet not homemade and super acidic and sweet. Odd. The crispy chicken wrap had two tiny pieces of fried chicken that was more breading than protein, and a TON of lettuce in a tortilla. Ice machine was broken so no smoothies. Despite definitely not being cooked properly or well, it took a long time and it was mostly empty. The decor was confusing as well lol. The fries were good though, I'd pass on the rest of the order especially for the price, unfortunately. Southern Grill might be confusing to some ppl also... the name might imply a different genre of food but menu had wraps, gyro, Philly sandwiches, and salads. I like all of those but could be misleading to...
