This is mostly a review of the staff and operations of this small park rather than an experience review. Overall the general experience was ok.
Going to be talking a lot about the staff in this one as it seems a lot of them do not know what was going on.
Staff seemed very inattentive and did not seem like they had a good idea of what they were doing. Many of them were crossing out of safety zones while the rides were running, leaving/ opening entry and exit gates while the rides were running, and were not paying attention to behavior of guest that could potentially cause harm to themselves and others.
A good example of crossing out of safety zones is operators sitting within a couple inches away from the cars on Zamperla race cars, as well as maintenance and staff crossing under the gondola on the drop tower.
Many of the operators were sitting on their phones and waiting instead of loading guest that were waiting onto the rides, as well as staring off into space while rides were running. The exception to this was an older operator working on the carousel who was watching for children not holding onto the bar. Instead of nicely telling the children to hold on though, he yelled at them and scolded them after the ride was over. Overall he did better than the other ride operators but there is still something wrong with the way that he handled the situation.
From my observation, it does not look like the employees at this park have gone through enough ride specific training and have not completed iROC or any other safety courses. While it is a fun spot, they need to correct their staff on the many...
Read moreWe have been coming here for the past 2 years and have always had wonderful experiences. Well yesterday that changed, I am a very patient laid back person so it takes a lot for me to get angry but when waiting to go on the little nascar ride for kids the operator of the ride was so rude she did not greet us and my two year old was so excited and tried talking to her and she ignored him. You are working at theme park that caters to children you may want to be able to communicate with them. Also this particular ride states that children above 36" can ride this ride by themselves and I can tell you that nobody under the age of 3 should ride this ride by themselves it slings me around I can only imagine a small child riding this by themselves. So I had to pay to ride this ride. They have also gone up on prices just a few months ago it only cost a dollar for a ticket and most kiddie rides were only 1 ticket. Now ticket prices have gone up to $2.00 and rides are 2-3 tickets depending on the ride. So the nascar ride used to only cost a dollar to ride and now it is $4.00. This makes me feel bad for the ones with multiple children that loved this place because it was one of the last affordable places to take your children. So if someone used to spend $50.00 to bring their children here just know you will be spending $100.00 for less amount of rides as before. I hate this because I had told so many of my friends of how much I loved this place because it was so affordable to take your children it did not take long for them to become greedy and take advantage...
Read moreOkay so my first piece of advice.. never ever buy tickets at the counter, check Groupon first. The $40 wristband was $20 on Groupon and it was good for both sections of the park and the observation wheel as well. Imagine our sheer delight on saving tons of money!!! Second the park is awesome and you will have plenty of fun so enjoy the rides more than once. Do go to the kiddie section it has some cool rides too. Observation wheel is what all wheels do. You see the town and enjoy a scenic view. As for the rides, beast and speed xxl are scary as heck. Ride at your own risk like really. It takes you high up somewhere and flips over so you are facing down from an unbelievable height, just pushing against that one single harness. All the time I was wondering what if this Harness gave way. Still did beast thrice just coz son wanted to and I couldn’t break his heart. All in all a great experience and will...
