Visit on 5-3-2022. With my wife and my 2 parents. Mom and dad are 66 and 68. My wife and I have been here many times in the past, living just a couple hours away and highly recommend the shaved ice when they have it. My parents live 8 hours away.
My most recent visit leaves something to be desired. We arrived late in the evening on the 3rd, celebrating my dads birthday. We played as a foursome. Wasnt many on the course when we started, had a family of 2 young kids, 2 adults. The group behind us was playing much faster than we were due only 1 adult really playing, one kid mostly just rolled the ball and the other didnt play, just climbed on everything. So 4 adult speed is slower than 1.5 adult speed. Somewhere around hole 8 they played through.
Apparantly seeing the group behind us finish irritated the attendand who through we were just goofing off and not playing the course. The attendant came down the course and found us on hole 13. Attendant Al, said with an attitude "The people behind you are finished, we are closing soon, lets hurry up." Now we weren't playing slow, we weren't playing fast, we arent new players and we arent professionals. We had played at an average speed for a foursome the entire course, but the fact we let the players behind us play through at the fast pace they took somehow put a bee in this guy's bonnet where he felt the need tocome down to tell us to hurry up simply because we followed rule #3, of the course, to allow faster players to play through. Al made some veiled threat to not let us finish before walking off.
If you own this course, you might want to give Al some guidance on how to deal with paying customers who come in near close. If this is how you want to run your business then despite our love of the course, I cant say I want to return... least I be kicked off the course for being in a party of 4 and not playing as fast as a group of 1.5 players...

Read moreGeneral impression: It seems more fun when you see it from the road. Rating on 1-5 Scale Course Condition: 2 – Astroturf was in fairly good condition, but wood borders were dry rotting and bricks missing so your ball could roll off the course. Tall grass and weeds needed to be cut. One of the holes was part of a drain and the plate in the bottom was moved and we almost lost one of our balls. Bathroom was all the way at the front with no shortcuts. The stairs were ramped and different heights and depths, it had rough edges to the steps, and it was very dark and not well lit. They had signs everywhere to “watch your step”. Also, the signature hole with the giant hill seen from the road had a sign that if you hit your ball in the route to get the hole in one, it was likely to become trapped and you’d have to go all the way back to the front to get a new ball. Difficulty: 4 – Some holes were deceptively difficult. The green had a lot of rolls that you couldn’t necessarily see. There wasn’t much variety in the layout and course design. Cost/Value: 2 - $12 per round, and don’t have coupons but they do offer a military discount, senior discount, and second round for $4. We’ve paid the same price for newer courses that were better kept. Fun: 3 – the main draw was the animals and they seemed to need a fresh coat of paint. No interactive or...
Read moreIt’s an okay mini golf place, probably should of read the reviews before we went but it was around the corner from us. Very easy course which is great for children but if your an adult you kind of want some holes to be challenging. Most holes were straight shots beside a couple you had to hit it up an embankment to get to the other side. We went at night and even though the place is well lit from the road there were a lot of holes you we had to shoot in the dark. We had to walk up prior to hitting the ball just to see where the whole was. All the holes were a par 2 and 90% of them if your good at mini golf your hitting a hole in one. Every time you finish a hole your hoping the next one is a little harder but it wasn’t. We tried it but we will probably look elsewhere for something more challenging. And they money you pay you kind of wish it was a little more challenging. I gave it 3 stars because the kiddos enjoyed it but if it was just adults playing it would be...
