Bali Bay Resort — Hotel in Myrtle Beach

I received my first contact a few hours before checkin. It was unclear so I had to ask clarifying questions. There is no check-in desk, use one code to get into the building and second code to get into your "condo." Parking is under the building, ground level, pick a spot, not many to chose from so assuming not many condos in the building. If you leave and come back during the day, good luck getting a spot as people in their golf carts parked there instead of at the beach parking. Never used the pool; hot tub was closed. The pool at the awful motel next door looked 1000 times better (look up those reviews). While the condo was clean and spacious, it wasn't nearly as nice as the online pictures. Our balcony faced the motel. There was no handsoap provided. The dishes didn't look clean so we bought some cheap plastic stuff at Target (along with cleaner and hand soap). We were told a parking pass was left on the table which was not true. Waited an hour for that to be delivered. There was plenty of towels. The beds were clean and comfortable so that was a plus. I reached out late for paper supplies and they provided first thing in the morning. There was damage - broken floor tile, broken closet doors, dryer didn't work, dings in the walls, broken bed frame, etc. Overall disappointed in what was presented vs actual plus considering overall price. Yes was right at a beach access, but didn't really feel safe in the area. Would not...

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property and Ray! We initially needed to find a new place to stay right away. We called Balibay and Ray offered us to come right away and tour what rooms were available and pick which suited our group best. We ended up using a 3 bedroom oceanfront room. It was impeccably clean! We had four adults and four children all under 5 and everyone was extremely comfortable! We loved how large the rooms were and all the space for the kids to play. The kitchen had everything we could ask for to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The pool was the perfect size for families with small children, always had seating available, and again always clean! We were just steps away from the ocean making trips to the beach super easy. Also we were blown away by the complementary beach chairs, toys, and boogie boards! Everything at Balibay made our groups trip so relaxing and carefree! Ray shows out of this world hospitality and joy in helping people. We will be a forever...

Bali Bay Resort is a hidden gem on Ocean Boulevard. I am so thankful I found this resort for my family for our weekend vacation stay. We were able to get the 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms condo. When I first stepped foot in the domain, it was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Our Oceanview and layout was amazing and it was just as advertised thru pics online.

My friend and her family were down the street at Hilton Homestead Suite, when they came and visited us at Bali Bay Resort , she felt cheated. Her Hilton suite was a downgrade compared to Bali Bay Resort. She asked how I found Bali Bay. I said it was just luck. 😊

Also, I want to add that customer service (Ray, the Operational Manager) was exceptional. He quickly responded to all our questions and needs. He ensured we had the best stay ever. Thanks, Ray!
